Kid-friendly vacation rentals in La Motte-d'Aigues

This is truly the absolute best spot to stay in the Luberon. You walk outside your door and are literally just steps to an incredible boulangerie, coffee spot, restaurants, history, and scenery that is awe inspiring. The decor was stunning. This is the rare AirBnB that is better than the pictures- and they were great already! We loved closing out the day with a glass of rose’ on the balcony watching the incredible scenery. The cold plunge pool was such a lovely experience- we are converts! Denis provided exceptional hospitality - he checked in to make sure we had all we needed and was such a treasure. He went above and beyond on his host duties. Our family all agreed this is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. It has so much character- you feel like you are in a castle- but with modern conveniences like laundry and a great kitchen! If you are even considering this place, book this special home! Quiet accommodation in a cul-de-sac, with all small shops within walking distance (Tuesday market, nearby cafes and bars, Spar convenience store, cheese shop, small cinema). Unlucky about the very rainy weather on half of the stay, but the balcony has good potential in sunny weather (sun from 10.15 am to about 6:15 pm in the evening, mid-April). Indeed the room was wet with some torrential rains during the stay, but that didn't bother us too much because we were absent during the day; maybe be careful not to leave accessible food on the kitchen counter (ants could invite themselves). Very good communication with Patricia, who was accommodating on the terms of the stay and responsive to our questions. Clean, spotless accommodation upon arrival. You can enjoy the sweet life of the neighborhood's cats walking under the balcony window, having your coffee:)

Frédérique was attentive to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the area, offering all the comforts. The pool, nice, to cool off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing holiday, thanks to the wonderful garden.

Really great 0place and host, would definitely go back

This was one of the best places we ever stayed at. Everything was super clean. We felt right at home, with the kitchen being set up with every equipment needed to make nice meals. It is just a short drive out of Gordes which makes it perfect to wind down. Its such a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Super easy to drive to all the other towns in the area. We had a great time outdoors in the beautiful garden, with a lovely dining set up and the pool, also pool towels were provided which was amazing. Everything was just great and we would definitely come back.

We had a beautiful stay at Christian and Anne’s place. We travelled with two couples, a toddler and a baby and the space was great for us. Ansouis is a quiet village with a great bakery and restaurant but within close driving distance of other villages to explore too! The pool was a great addition and we enjoyed dining in the outdoor space. Christian and Anne were really responsive with all communications and super flexible with check in and out! Thanks for sharing your place with us, we would love to return one day!

A fantastic stay. A beautiful home with all amenities in spotless condition, set among the vines and olive trees. Cara was a great host and quickly answer our queries. We highly recommend.

The space is impeccably clean. It is tastefully decorated, functional, pleasant and very well-equipped. Bedding is good. The jacuzzi area is simply wonderful and the equipment is of high quality. The host is very nice and responded kindly to all our requests. The immediate environment has many convenient shops, the street is busy, a little too much for me, but the maximum is done to make you forget (double glazing, earplugs available if necessary...).

Very nice accommodation, in a nice village close to all amenities. We were able to enjoy a walk around and the festival 2 steps from the accommodation.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

Magic is the only word to describe both Cathy's apartment and its location in the Luberon. Cucuron is a delightful little village surrounded by other equally beautiful places to visit. We spent two weeks here and really didn't want to leave. The apartment, with its secure parking space, is situated on the edge of the village, which in itself is a huge plus, meaning we could access all the village has to offer on foot. The apartment itself is light and airy and well equipped for a prolonged stay. We found Cathy to be a responsive and friendly host and we would return here in a heartbeat.

The apartment design is wonderful as is its location on the top floor. The soothing colors and linen textiles make it feel luxurious! And the light and views are exceptional. There is a 1.5 hour loop walk you can do to Cadenet which we did each morning for coffee. Caroline is helpful and left welcome gifts we enjoyed. You can tell they have put their hearts into the place.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

I would recommend the accommodation, it was in line with the photos, very clean and perfectly suited to a short business trip. Check-in was 100% and Alexis was very flexible with my check-in and check-out.

We had a very warm and appreciable welcome. Arrived much later than expected due to problems on the way, our host was nevertheless waiting for us with a smile and relaxed in the night. He even worried about whether we had managed to dine in the middle of our misadventure, offering us a quick dinner if needed. Both welcoming and discreet, we enjoyed talking to them about the history of their estate. A delicate and trusting relationship! The studio is great, absolutely clean, and tastefully decorated, between Provencal style and modernity. Bright, spacious, nothing was missing. The small terrace overlooks the land planted with olive and pine trees, very pleasant for meals in a lot of serenity. The pool below the guest house was also accessible, shared with other potential tenants but we were alone. Thanks to Gilles and Anne Laure for this little piece of Provence, we will recommend you!

Thanks to Laurence for hosting us, her accommodation is very well-equipped (like home), spacious with a private garden and quiet. Beautiful birdsong and no annoying barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

Nice, fresh and bright accommodation. The sofa bed was good. Protected patio. The proximity to the train station was excellent.

We would give 10 stars, the apartment is great, the location of Vera da above the river, the terrace on the river gives a natural air conditioning on hot days, in the evening the atmosphere is particularly cozy with the lapping of the river, the reflections of lights of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. In the heart of the much-visited town, where peace returns in the evening. Then the comfortable private parking and in the afternoon sitting under the plane trees by the river in the large private park and reading a book. Wonderful. We highly recommend the apartment. Denis was always available and made check-in possible and gave us many tips. He is very nice and open-minded towards his guests. Thank you Denis for everything!

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance to the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful swimming opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.
