Family-friendly vacation rentals in La Jarrie

The house is absolutely as advertised. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoking room). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful week. Fred and Sabrina could not have made us feel more welcome. Would highly recommend this for a couple looking for a relaxing break close to many areas of interest. Every need was catered for and more and went way beyond our expectations. Very nice people.

Simple accommodation in a nice peaceful setting in the countryside. Very welcoming host with nice touches (homemade jam, etc.).

We had a great time at this lovely house. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, has a lovely garden, and is very quiet and private. The welcome was very nice and an added bonus was generously allowing our children to play with some beach toys stored at the house. The house is five minutes from an excellent bakery, pizza place and bar / cafe and ten minutes walk from a lovely beach.

A great family weekend in Chris's accommodation in Fouras: small cute house facing the sea (although a rocky stone under construction hides the sea view a little, but fortunately we had been warned) with everything we needed. Quiet location, close to the pier for the island of Aix, close to Fouras and small garden with its very pleasant deckchairs. Chris was a thoughtful and responsive host, thank you. Recommended!

We couldn't have asked for better for our stay in La Rochelle with friends. Located in the center, everything is in walking distance. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Guillaume was very accommodating and friendly. We recommend 200%.

We found a little paradise! Quiet in a cul-de-sac. This small house with its terrace is really very nice, well-equipped and ideally located (market 10 minutes away, bike paths) and as a bonus a parking space for the car. Thank you again for hosting us. Without hesitation, we will recommend your little paradise.

Nice family house with a big garden, we and our dog loved it. The patio and terrace are relaxing. The open kitchen is large and well equipped, the sitting area is comfortable and spacious. The house is very close to the village center, easy access to the beach and local restaurants. There’s a market twice a week, and local grocery stores. We rented bicycles just around the corner and did not need the car at all. All in all we had an excellent and very relaxing stay :)

Nice house, nothing was missing. It is clean and in a very quiet area. Very close to Domino where there is a grocery store, bakery and market. You can rent bikes right next door or in Domino. Sonia was super nice. The Les Sables restaurant at the campsite was lovely!

Very nice house, pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Very friendly welcome from Estelle, which doesn't spoil anything. Remote village but not far from the beaches and La Rochelle. I recommend it.

Wonderful property with great garden and pool - perfect for our family of 5 with young children. Securely enclosed outdoor space, easy access to town centre, supermarket and cycle routes. We will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely time at Will et Cellou’s house, the house is really well equipped and comfortable and the outside space was perfect. If we come back to the area we would love to stay again.

After the friendly welcome, we received many valuable tips from Christine on how to organize our stay. The hosts created privacy for us and were still available as a contact person. The apartment was very well equipped and we felt very comfortable.

Beautiful and stylish house very near the beach. Utterly peaceful and quiet yet 7mins walk to restaurants, bakery and shops. Also the garden is fully enclosed so the dogs could run freely. Easy to also hire a bike and see the beautiful island. Thank you to the Travel Paradise team!

We had a family stay at La Flotte the week of Christmas in 2024. There were 7 of us. The house is very pleasant to stay in and matches its description. The central living room is very large and overlooks the garden. We have a nice unobstructed view from the living room. The house was very well heated in winter. We had an excellent and attentive welcome from Catherine from the Concierge. I particularly appreciated the absolute calm at night for sleeping. There was no noise. The location of the house is perfect, in the very pretty village of La Flotte and an 8-minute walk to the city center where many shops were open for Christmas week. La Flotte is the most beautiful village on the island. But thanks to the bike paths, we enjoyed other villages such as Saint Martin and fell in love with Loix. The Île de Ré is very pleasant in winter with few people. We also saw a very nice concert at the Church of St. Catherine.
