[Entire house] A former village chief's house "An old house" in a beautiful rice terrace village

誠二Rating, 5 stars3 months ago
The surrounding environment was beautiful and wonderful, and it was very healing. Unfortunately, due to the rain and cold, we didn't do outdoor bonfires or barbees, but we were able to use the wood stove, so we had a warm stay. The bath was also big and comfortable. The bedding is comfortable and everyone seems to have slept well. I want to come back in a different season

Unique stay up a hilltop. Google map led us to wrong route but host was quick to come meet us and guide us to the house. He is very responsive and helpful. Nice getaway just 5mins away from the beach.

1 Group/Day|Ocean View|3BR 2BA|Beachfront BBQ

TamamiRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The sea is 30 seconds away on foot, and there is a shower room on the first floor that you can enter from the outside, so you can take a shower immediately after coming back from the sea. Open the large windows in the living room and enjoy a BBQ on the veranda, which is the same size as the living room.It was a really wonderful facility where you could see the ocean and hear the sound of the waves even while sitting in the living room. There are 2 guest rooms on the 1st floor, and each room has a toilet, so there is no need to go to the 2nd floor, and the layout of the shower room, which allows you to move between the 2 rooms, was also very good.

Vermillion Waves Oceanfront Retreat on the beach

When I entered the room first, I was impressed by the beautiful sea from the window!During my stay, I was able to spend quietly in a stylish room in the red tones of my favorite color.I took pictures and sketches while looking out the window. It was very quiet at night, so I had enough sleep. The next day it was relatively warm, so I had breakfast on the balcony. This was awesome. There was a pine forest in front of the condo and beautiful flowers were in bloom and we walked around with cameras. We had a very precious time.Thank you so much!

[Private BBQ by the river] 5-minute walk to the station/1-minute walk to the sea/Let's play at Mt. Kyu!

AlbertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I stayed with a group of 6 of my friends at Eric’s place in Futtsu. The Airbnb itself is spacious, clean, and has all the amenities one could need. We had a great time barbecuing in the backyard, which sits over a beautiful and peaceful river by the ocean. The Mount Nokogiri trailhead is about a 10 minute walk away. The town of Hama-Kanaya itself was incredibly charming and friendly towards our group of random foreigners. I recommend going to the local coffee shop, soba restaurant, shaved ice cafe, and burger place. Additionally a small grocery store, cool pizza place, and nice butcher (for the bbq!) sits within about a 30 second walk. Eric himself was always responsive, incredibly welcoming, and nice enough to allow us early check in. This was probably the best Airbnb experience I’ve had, and my friends’ highlight of Japan. It’s a hidden gem for sure!
