In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central to Gaustablikk in relation to the ski system, cross-country and alpine. The cabin is located at the top of "Ronnyheisen", and a short distance to the parking area. Gaustablikk has good food service and several activities you can participate in. If you want to leave the car, there are shuttle buses around the whole area every day and throughout the evening. We recommend downloading the Gausta app for more information about the area. The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Amazing views of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birdsong as the closest neighbors. The cross-country ski trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine resort. Note: There is a walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in summer/250 meters in winter, it is steep the first bit, so it is NOT suitable if you are bad at walking. Approximately 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.
