Idyllic place on Gøynes by Lake Tinnsjøen

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400,-

Tinnsjøhytta

Enjoy quiet holidays with the whole family right by Tinnsjøen at this peaceful cabin all the way down the water's edge. Two cabins are tied together with a deck. One cabin has a dining table, a sofa bed and a simple kitchen. The second cabin is the bedroom with 4 beds. Water must be collected at the sanitary facility at Sjøtveit Camping, where there is also a free shower. In addition, there is a completely newly renovated bathroom (shared with another cabin) with a biological toilet in the neighboring cabin. No running water. Simple standard.

Cozy 1850 Firehouse/Back House The cabin has been converted to an annex/small cabin where there is one room with a double bed. Dining nook inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the neighboring building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linens are included in the rental price. There is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike tours and tours in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist commune offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

Fantastic view of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birds singing as the closest neighbors. The cross-country trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine facility. Note: It is a distance to walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in the summer/250 meters in the winter, it is steep the first part, so it does NOT fit if you have bad legs. Approx. 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.

Short distance to all amenities at Gaustablikk. Has been maintenance on the building this summer, but they are done now. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 500

Bedroom 1: double bed 150 cm Bedroom 2: double bed 160 cm Bedroom 3: double bed 160 cm Bedroom 4: 2 single beds of 75 cm + an office Minimum age for rent: 30 years. Bring : consumables, towels, bed linen and firewood. Bed linen and towels can be rented on request, in which case please let us know at least one week in advance.
