At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

One of the cabins closest to Gaustatoppen, so for hiking you can go directly from the cabin out on the mountain. Ski in/out and about 200 meters to the cross-country trails and hiking trails. Ideal cottage for 2 families with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, hall and bathroom on the lower floor and 2 bedrooms, toilet and living room (with sofa bed and TV) on the upper floor.

Large cozy vertically divided cabin with great location and high standard. The cabin is located right next to the downhill slope and right next to cross-country trails in winter. In summer there are countless hiking opportunities and if you are interested in fishing there are many good alternatives in the area. Gaustatoppen is a very popular mountain hike and is located nearby. Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.
