Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Until there is no 5 minute walk. Zell lies at 426 m and is framed by hills and mountains to over 1000 m altitude. It is a small town with good shopping and good connection to bus and train. You can borrow a bicycle for small tours for 5€ / day

Münstertal - At home by the rushing stream

The cozy, newly renovated attic apartment is located on the 2nd floor. The house is right on the stream. From the balcony you can see meadows, garden, stream and Black Forest mountains. Münstertal offers many opportunities for hiking on the Belchen or Schauinsland mountains.Hiking trails right at your doorstep. Mountain biking is popular in the Black Forest.
