Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kingston

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

So glad we found this amazing place! It is nestled off the road in a quiet, beautiful location. The downstairs area is spacious, with a pool table and a dart board. The electric fireplace was such a nice addition for the colder than usual evening. Penny was such a great host! Fun filled fact- the space is filled with such pretty photos. I was so interested in them that I looked up the photographer and turns out it was Penny! I ended up purchasing a few pieces and I can’t wait to add them to my space at home! No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

we had a great stay at Sherry's! The farm animals were great to hear...and new lambs! The house was easy to find. Sherry recommended a local grocery to us, it was awesome. we were there 3 times. Sherry had a fence enclosure put up for our days, that was greatly appreciated! Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I had a great stay 😊 Beautiful home for those who are interested in stargazing and reconnecting with nature. The place was very home-y and clean! There was a guidebook by the table as soon as you enter to read through (same information as on Airbnb). The patio is nice and the stargazing spot is perfect. Kitchen is very clean and accessible. Big plus with the bathroom mirror with the lighting and heat :) Windows by the living room didn’t have curtains but! It’s very private otherwise. Neighbours are fairly far away. So no one can really see through the side windows unless they’re directly there.

Overall it was great experience. Nice to stay!

Maria’s home was beautiful with a spectacular view right on the water. We enjoyed time on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing in the bay. Maria was kind enough to provide us wood for the fire pit and the kids loved cooking s’mores at night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Maria’s home was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you Maria for being a wonderful host and sharing your beautiful home!

Great location, walkable to Parsons, lots of parking and a spotless well appointed space! The host is so kind, helpful and responsive. Would definitely go back!

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is exactly as pictured and incredibly clean. Truly spotless and everything appears brand new. A comfortable and spacious place where we felt right at home. We especially appreciated the private, peaceful outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen (with a proper stove/oven, appliances, a full set of knives/dishes/glassware/cutlery and every utensil/pot/pan you need to cook a proper meal). Aimee has truly thought of everything you could possibly need, like extra pillows and towels, personal hygiene items, a water pitcher, and even an extra propane tank for the bbq. Staying here feels like visiting the house of a very thoughtful friend who already owns everything you need and is an expert in hospitality (and knows to fold the edge of the toilet paper roll into a point and seal it with a stamp). Great location close to Picton, yet quiet and peaceful. As a host, Aimee is super proactive and responsive. She takes hosting seriously and it shows.

We had such a lovely stay at Jane's airbnb. It has every amenity you could think of from the pool toys, to smore fixings and beach supplies. The firepit and the s'mores were a bit hit with our son. It's also a dog friendly stay and we got to meet her dog, Gracie. The beds are very comfy and the place is spotless. Highly recommend!

Doris and her husband were the warmest hosts and were very accommodating with our requests. The place is clean, well furnished and spacious and our pup was very happy to be there with us. We would surely return and recommend Doris' place. Thank you for a great time!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

My husband and I were escaping to Brooke's Riverside Hideaway for two nights to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. This is for sure one of those rare locations that is even better in real life. The privacy, the peacefulness and the accommodation were dreamy. We are already looking forward to returning in future years. So many wonderful extra touches, from the Starbucks hot chocolate sachets to the extra blankets placed by the fire pit. A little slice of heaven!

My partner and I had a fantastic weekend getaway to Place for my birthday! Silver and Will have done an incredible job. It is beautifully designed and so functional! It has everything you could need and the layout is excellent! We enjoyed the screened in porch when the mosquitos were out and when it was raining. The fire pit was wonderful for an afternoon and evening hangout. Relaxing in the hottub was a treat! We had an awesome time canoeing on the quiet lake, which is huge and easy to access. The decor and design is modern and gorgeous. It is exactly as pictured. It is private and cosy. Silver and Will were responsive and were wonderful hosts! We can’t wait to be back again!

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

A couple of things that stood out for us was the abundance of towel racks and hooks in the bathroom as well as dimmers on all of the overhead lights (such a relief from glare!). We would stay here again.

Such a cozy space that accurately reflected the Air BNB listing! The location was approximately 15 minute away from downtown Picton by car which was a major plus for us. Sally was proactive with her communication with us and always quick to respond to our messages. We arrived late in the evening and there was limited lighting along the long driveway which made it slightly more challenging when we first got there but this wasn't a huge deal. Sally has a large sign with arrows indicating for you to follow to the cabin & where to park your vehicle which was helpful. The cabin was well-furnished and clean. The bed and seating were very comfortable. Mother nature wasn't completely on our side for our weekend getaway as it rained and was slightly too cold for us to make use of the beautiful screened in porch, the fire pit or explore down by the water on the property. The cabin has a nice remote controlled fire place that adds an extra cozy touch. We would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect, close to services and all the activities around Sandbanks. The property is spotless, very well maintained, spacious and peaceful, ideal for relaxing by the water. The sunsets are absolutely stunning, no need to go anywhere, the show is right there. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful if you need anything. The cottage is super clean, well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back!
