Cabin vacation rentals in Kings Beach

We were a party of 6 with 2 dogs and we had a fantastic stay at this cozy A-frame cabin in Tahoe City! The house was spotless, stylishly furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the place is — we brought our two dogs, and there was no extra charge, which is incredibly rare and thoughtful. The hot tub was a major highlight, perfect after a day of hiking or just to relax under the stars. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful. Another big plus: the host offered early check-in and late checkout without any request, which made our stay even more flexible and stress-free. Communication was clear and responsive throughout. We would absolutely stay here again — highly recommended!

Great location in Tahoe - less than 10 min drive to the lake. Very close to supermarket. House was very comfortable. Bedrooms first floor. Open living space at the top with deck and 1/2 bath. House was fully equipped - including kitchen supplies, spices/cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathroom toiletries. Beds were comfortable.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

We enjoyed the stay at Tina's place. Her house is in a quite neighborhood and very close to the sugar pine point state park. Tina provided very detailed check-in instruction and the place is well-equipped (you can even use the bikes from the shed). We had an issue with the hot water from the shower and she quickly communicated back and arranged for the fix. I recommend to stay in this place.

We feel lucky we found this place. We booked last minute (uncommon experience, since I can only assume this place is booked out solid in summer and winter), and Nathan was so responsive in helping us with our stay. As soon as we arrived, we were so impressed with the size of the place, amenities and gorgeous setup. The master bed was so comfy. Our dog (and us!) loved the fully fenced backyard. Kitchen was stocked. Games and DVDs (yes DVDs with a DVD player and everything! 😀) were super entertaining. Raleys is so close by. The bike path is really close as well, perfect for a dog walk in the morning and evening. We went to the butcher (Mountain Valley Meats, only 3 minutes drive away) and made sausage to cook up on the BBQ. We also tried Cafe Lupine and the pastries were delicious. Could not recommend this place enough. I’m ready to live here!

The Tahoe Treehouse was a beautiful and peaceful escape from reality. The loft/nest was on another level and I will miss sleeping comfortably under the stars. The host Emilia was quick to respond to any questions I had. My wife and I cannot wait to go back and make it our go to spot.

Karen's place was perfect. very thoughtful, touches and a very well stocked kitchen. plenty of towels, plenty of the basics like toilet paper. I really appreciate when hosts make the basics available right away. The location was great and so close to so many restaurants and so many snow parks for our little kid to play. The beds were a little soft for our taste, but it worked out. We have so much fun with the sled that was available at the house, just dragging our kid around in the beautiful backyard was lovely. the hot tub was comfy and clean and heated up efficiently. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

The chalet was a perfect spot for a winter getaway. Kyle had a quick response time, very clear directions and house was perfect!! Everything accurately described. Close proximity to the market and the ski/tubing spots. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need- even a waffle maker!!The hot tub was an added bonus!!! My only apprehension to book was if 4WD or tire chains would be needed to access the house… glad to report even a Toyota Corolla could make it!!! Roads are well maintained, even with active snowfall!! Don’t hesitate and book your memorable trip!!! 🏔️ ❄️

Wow! What a gorgeous cabin and location. We really enjoyed our weekend at Leah's house. It's beautifully decorated, has high-end appliances throughout and everything was spotless. Entry/exit was easy and there was garage parking for our car. The cabin even has a view of Donner lake.

Great location/setting on the water. Nice grassy area w/seating above the beach. Its an easy property to immediately feel comfortable in: Kitchen was straight forward to work in and the dinning and living rooms were spacious & relaxed w/nice views. Heater worked well and quietly. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes to Tahoe City (south) and 5 minutes to Cornelian Bay - lots of beaches and parks near by.

Communication from Laura was excellent. The history of the cabin and the cabin is beyond beautiful. The views are stunning. Private beach is perfect. We cannot thank her enough for sharing her family treasure with the world.

Great house close to Sugarbowl. Brent was very flexible and helpful. Kitchen was nice, the beds were comfy and the front stairs were heated (so no shoveling!). We hope to be back for another ski trip!

Mike’s place was great! Awesome value, very convenient location.

Cindy place was amazing! It’s located right next to the Hyatt which we did not take advance of (but wish we did)! It was very easy to get to Mt. Rose to ski every day. The place was very clean, and it had cable tv. We totally want to come back here next year for New Years and hope they will host us again!

We loved our stay in Lake Tahoe! This place worked out very well for my husband and our two boys, ages 7&5! We felt like we were close to many activities and loved the privacy of the backyard hot tub after the kiddos went to bed. Place was clean and cozy and had all the amenities of home. Host was responsive and even recommended some hikes that were kid friendly! Would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again!

Lakefront location!!! Any closer to the water and you would be getting wet! My wife and I spent a week here and loved it. Constant view of the lake. Great easy parking… a couple steps to the front door. Patio on the lake cannot be beat. We’ll be back.

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The location is perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area yet still close to everything you’d want to explore. But the real showstopper? The backyard. It’s unreal. Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

Very cozy and quaint place. There’s a lake just at a walking distance from the house. Robert is an extremely polite and friendly host and very responsive to all questions. We have 2 dogs and Robert was so thoughtful to provide toys, poop bags and even fur combs! There’s fun board games as well. A very nice stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe (30 mins only) or just chilling.

Lovely cabin in Tahoe City! Just up the hill, close to the city but quiet enough that you can hear the creek running through the backyard. Nicely furnished with a king sized bed and a fireplace right by the bed

This is a nice little cabin for visiting this beautiful area. We could walk into Tahoe City and surrounding areas were a short drive away. The hosts were very communicative and the location was exactly as described in the listing. This would be a perfect ski cabin. We will definitely keep it in mind if we return.

Chris let us check in early. That was much appreciated. We did not realize we could walk across the street to Gar Woods.. a restaurant we frequent when we visit Tahoe. The place was clean and matched the photos. We used all 4 bedrooms for our 3 families and enjoyed spending time together. We lucked out on both weather and traffic.

This is the perfect Tahoe getaway. Easy access to the lake (rocky but lovely) and a great breakfast spot just next door. Would highly recommend if you have several couples or family that want a getaway.
