Cottage vacation rentals in Kihei

Lisa’s place was a wonderful throwback to a Hawaiian plantation house. It was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a short stay on Maui. The kitchen was fully stocked and the lanai was a gorgeous private refuge after busy days exploring. The 2 pools on site offered a quiet swimming/sunning experience. This was such a nice treat from a typical condo rental in Hawaii. The host offered many local suggestions which were very appreciated. Thank you Lisa!

We loved the cottage. It was the perfect for our family. It is towards the back of the whole property and right up against the golf course, so it was very private with PHENOMENAL views. My daughter enjoyed walking the property and picking up rogue golf balls. The layout of the bedrooms is a little strange with two stacked right next to each other and one only having shutters to the rest of the space, but it still served us well. We loved that there was a living room that opened into the kitchen and dining room. My in laws loved having their morning coffee on the lanai. The AC worked great, the only downside is that the AC is not vented into the dining area, but not a deal breaker. When we first arrived (earlier than expected), the AC unit display was not working, but the on island property manager was quick to respond and had someone out to fix asap was just a dead battery. Would HIGHLY recommend, and will stay again if we are on the West Coast. Pools were EMACULATE and great to use!

For my first time in Hawaii Haley was a great host. The place was better than advertised. I was a little worried about AC, but even on the hottest days the place stay very cool. Kaanapali beach was right across the street with the best view I had in all of Hawaii. My best experiences were spent on the back porch with a picture frame view the Maui, sunrise and sunset. The cottage is perfect.

We had a great stay at Bianca's beautiful home. From the outset Bianca was friendly and so accommodating. Her instructions were clear and the property was exactly what you see from photos (if not better!) She was super responsive and flexible when we asked to check out slightly later due to a work call. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Bianca!

The area was great and quiet.

Katherine was very helpful with recommendations of activities! She followed up to see if we made it safely to her home. Katherine’s home had all the amenities and more, including beach chairs, boogie boards and more things to take to the beach. She also checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Thank you!

This spot was perfect for my family. Great location and amenities, kitchen had everything you’d need, even ice and water dispenser on the fridge. Close to the beaches with grocery stores close in either Honokowai or Lāhainā. The property and views were fantastic, even having beach gear to use. The communication from the property owner and assisting manager was quick and helpful. Had extra linens and even beach towels, and the washer and dryer were very helpful. Beds were comfortable and there is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and the dining area that helps with warmer temperatures in the house. Pools are a very short walk away and they are quiet and have a bathroom. Nice quiet little spot if you’re looking for a quiet peaceful area. We liked it so much that we will definitely stay here again.

We loved this house and the location. The house is exactly as it’s shown, close to pool beach, restaurants. One of the best snorkeling spots right at the beach. The house/kitchen were completely stocked, it had everything that you needed which is so wonderful not having to run out as soon as you arrive some place because you have to grab the basics. The beds were comfortable, the pool was warm-which is the best for kids! I will definitely look to book Laurie’s place first when we come back!

Luxurious resort-like stay in Haiku with all and more than you could ask for - more than enough space for our group, good beach and town access as well as on site hot tub and pool access, even the overall design added to the joy of our stay. Spotless as well. Host was accessible by app messaging and by phone throughout. We loved this place!

This was the perfect place to spend Mother’s Day weekend. Everything was spectacular!!

What a lovely place! Soooo little bugs in a forest environment. Very clean! Sharyn is very responsive, always so welcoming and friendly! She made the place extra special for me and my wife. Will totally recommend her👍👍👍

Rosa and Carl are wonderful hosts. They were very kind and helpful providing lots of tips for trips. Accomodation was perfect, refreshments waiting for us after long fly from Europe. Fully recommended. Mahalo!

We love Maui and are so thrilled to have found such a lovely place to stay. Katherine and Dean couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful and kind. Kihei is a terrific base for exploring and enjoying the island. As we drove out to head to the airport, we all said it was the best Airbnb experience we have had (among many wonderful Airbnb experiences and basically no bad ones). We will be back! :)

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Nice size for our family of 5. Our younger kids slept in the bedroom that had the daybed and the twin bed, which worked out perfectly. Each bedroom did have AC which was really nice. We loved the convenience of the washer and dryer. We also loved the central location and walkability to restaurants, coffee spots, shopping, etc. Emma gave clear instructions and helpful recommendations. She’s an awesome host.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Jenni’s place. We really indulged in the property and the hot tub it was such. Gem of a place. The neighborhood may not look like much but the cottage itself is stunning in every way. It’s even fully stocked with spices and all the silverware you could need. We really enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate doing so in the future.

Beautiful location. Secluded and set back from the road with an incredible ocean view. House had all the essentials. Would love to come back.
