Cozy guesthouse - great location

Our guesthouse has private access and located just outside central Reykjavík, in a very popular residential neighborhood, charming Vesturbærinn (west side). 20 minutes walk downtown. Attractions in Vesturbærinn include the local favorite swimming pool, Vesturbæjarlaugin, the local gourmet supermarket, Melabúðin. Local café and wine bar, Kaffi vest. The outdoors is also nice, with the southern shore of Reykjavík, Ægisíðan just down the street, where you can take beautiful walks along the coast.

Cosy cottage with SAUNA. Excellent location.

Exellent location between Airport (30 min.) and Reykjavík (15.min Central). The Cottage is downtown Hafnarfjörður, close to the harbour, a walking distance from Restaurants, Coffee shops, Tourist info, cute little shops, supermarket and a central bus stop. Taking a SAUNA after a long day is a real treat and the "outside" shower (with hot and cold water) is a great experience. On the property the owner operates a sustainable and organic vegetable farm, both outdoors and in heated greenhouses. When not in use as a rental property, the home is used as a craft workshop.

Hiking paths like Glymur waterfall are nearby, Hvammsvík spa is 5 minutes away, and Thingvellir National Park is only a 30-minute drive. In winter, the northern lights often light up the sky, making this a magical place to stay. The hut is only accessible by car, as there is no public transport.

Our cozy guest-house is located by our home in Rekjavík. There we are only a two minute walk from the beautiful nature of the valley of the river Elliðaár with tracks for walking and running.
