We really enjoyed our stay! Weather was gorgeous. Location is excellent. Cottage was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. It was nice and clean. My favourite feature was the outdoor firepit :)

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

Amanda’s place was perfect for our girls’ weekend getaway. The peaceful location on the river was ideal and the house has so much space and is laid out well for a larger group. Lots of places you gather together or get away to a quiet spot on your own. The deck down by the water was such a nice spot to gather with coffee or cocktails. We’ll be back if Amanda will have us!

beautiful home, tailored for guests and accommodated our dog. Includes most essentials for cooking and eating. The host ensures that we are well informed with usage of amenities, and gives necessary updates. Lots to do on the lake, provided by the host (canoe, kayak, paddleboard). Fire pit, bbq and hot tub were all great additions. Air conditioner is adequate for the space, even with the heat wave we experienced. Lake is very quiet, with some local fishermen and neighbours kayaking/paddleboarding. Overall, very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable. We will book again with Cassey!

Penny’s place was great: every little detail has been thought through, instructions clear, host very responsive. The house and surrounding area were beautiful - clear lake; lots of outside sitting areas, bbqs, hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, etc. The house was spotless - very clean; lots of towels, robes, linens. Lastly, Penny was very accommodating and kind given that we had one older person in our group with limited mobility (the house is well equipped for accessibility - super rare for AirBnbs). Thank you, Penny!

Such an amazing time at Jakub’s cottage! The cottage matched the photos exactly and was very spacious for the large group we had. It had everything we needed inside and the outside offered what you want from a cottage. great views, lake front with easy access to the water and a nice dock. And then there was the games room, we went with 11 guys and we were entertained from the minute we woke up until we went to bed. I can’t say enough good things about this location, you won’t regret it. Finally Jakub was a great host with clear communication and offered help if we needed it. Over all my group was extremely happy with everything :)

Had a wonderful stay at Kathy and John’s property. The place is beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything you could need for a cottage getaway. Right on the water, with tons of space and activities to do. Kathy and John were great hosts with their communication and responsiveness. We hope to come back again one day!

Although it was a last-minute booking made in a rather urgent situation, the host’s exceptionally warm and thoughtful communication immediately put us at ease. Thanks to their kindness. This place turned out to be far beyond our expectations. Cozy and beautifully designed, the cabin is nestled among trees, offering a tranquil view of the water and the soothing sounds of birds singing in the surrounding forest. If you’re looking for a stay that offers both peace and delight, this is truly a perfect choice.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mackenzies place. Great host that communicated very well with us. Property is great for kids with a beach front and 10 minute drive to the town of buckhorn.

Ryan was a great host keeping in touch with us throughout the stay. The place was spacious and comfortable and had a beautiful view over rice lake.

Leah’s place was a dream! The pictures do not do justice to just how beautiful the property is! It was our first vacation with our 3 month old baby and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leah was extremely helpful, responsive and even though the guest house is right next to the main home, Leah was extremely respectful of our privacy and we felt right at home. The house itself was clean, with outstanding views from each window. We were welcomed by goose and swans and it was amazing. Leah has friendly cats who too came to say hello! The sunset is amazing from the property and I can for sure say that we will be back soon! Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences so far

It was a great Experience that we visited this nice cottage. Clean neat perfect place for a family with lots of amenities. No one will regret choosing this place as their vacation home. The host is very responsive and never gets late for whatever you need.

We had a perfectly relaxing extended weekend. Spacious, clean and practically everything we needed including a fully supplied kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to play, and loads of firewood to make the space warm and cozy. Lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We enjoyed the view of the lake either on the decks or inside through the large windows. Heidi was very responsive to messages and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to coming back in the fall or winter months.

Andrea & Michael were both great hosts for our stay. They were proactive and responsive in their communications with us. The place is absolutely beautiful! Our big group thoroughly enjoyed the big backyard and waterfront. The home is well maintained with enough sleeping arrangements for a large group.

The host was super friendly and considerate. The house was clean and loaded with everything you would need or even think about, and also everything was organized and was in its place. We may come back with our friends again, cause our experience was really satisfying.

Another excellent week at McCracken's Landing. I couldn't say enough great things about how every single person working the cabins, restaurant, and store are all so friendly and truly care about the place and their guests. It's a slice of paradise!

Excellent stay! The beach club 1 house down was amazing for our kid with the sandy, shallow entrance and cafe. Everyone was friendly in the area, too. The master bedroom right on the lake is amazing. Kitchen is fully stocked and the entire house is cozy. Also very close to amenities as well as conservation areas. Makes for a very convenient cottage stay, especially if you have kids.

Casey's home was beautiful and the effort they put into the small touches really shows.Everything was spotless when we got there and their instructions were clear and helpful. Their guide on things to do in the area were also great. We enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ, and the patio in equal measure and overall had an amazing time! Thank you Casey, we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of swimming in the lake, sitting on the dock, kayaking and simply watching the hummingbirds by day and fireflies by night. The location is perfect allowing us easy access to Peterborough and also Petroglyph Provincial park. Lots of great restaurant options. I would consider staying here again while visiting my child at Trent University.

We stayed at Dmitry’s cottage in mid-June for almost 3 nights and brought our dog along. And it was an amazing experience! The lake access is fantastic, and the equipment provided made it even more enjoyable. The rustic interior is beautifully designed and gives off such a warm and welcoming vibe. One of the highlights was the 75-inch TV, perfect for cozy movie nights. Outdoors, there are four different areas to enjoy: comfy seating around the firepit, a lovely patio, a relaxing hot tub, and swings with outdoor furniture that make it easy to unwind and take in the nature around you. Just a heads-up: bring mosquito spray or patches to enjoy the outdoors more comfortably. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!
