Waterfront vacation rentals in Katwijk

Had a great stay. Everything was present and everything was neat. Super location within walking distance of both the beach, shopping street and dunes. Apartment is even better than described in photos Certainly subject to repetition!

Very friendly hosts with a nicely renovated apartment in the basement of their house near the beach with its great beach bars. We were greeted with wine and chocolate. If you (like us) want to arrive by electric car, charging stations are just 50 meters further on the same street. Very pleasant! Thank you so much for everything, Danielle and Mike!

We found the loft cozy and the view of the garden was beautiful. Brigitte always responded quickly. Perhaps in the future we will come back so that my husband can run in the dunes 😉

We had a wonderful time. There are many small shops and restaurants in the area, and everything is very walkable.

Very nice cozy lady who came to explain everything to us. She also invited us for a drink downstairs in the bar and was able to tell them about where you could have a nice drink. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we could need. The apartment was beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bert and Marieke.

Claartje's home is a happy place! We felt at home and loved the view of the small gardens from the dining room. There is a bus stop at the front door that is very convenient to take you to Leiden Central train station. Just plan well with the App 9292 or Google maps since the frequency changes on weekends or holidays. It is a very nice residential area, that felt pretty safe for walking, even when we miss the bus at night. We were three ladies but we felt there is plenty of room for five people. Claartje was very attentive, and her house a beautiful place to make beautiful memories at Leiden. Thank you!

Merith's place was great -- super cute and right on the canal. Many shops and restaurants close by. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there was a cool market across the canal, where you could get produce, nuts, cheese, fish, and a variety of goods. Her place is about 10-15 minute walk to the Leiden Centraal Station, which was very convenient. The public transport system in The Netherlands is excellent. We went to Amsterdam, Gouda, The Hague, Haarlem. And we were here during tulip season, so we went to Keukenhof Gardens twice. During this season, they run a bus from Leiden Centraal Station right to Keukenhof, easy. Merith's place was clean and well appointed, just as described. I recommend it!

We felt very comfortable, the apartment was quiet, very clean and cozy. Easy check-in and public parking right in front, with charging station. Shell gas station about 50 m away, Lidl within walking distance 5 min away. There is also seating outside. We were disturbed by the fragrance lamps. The bed was comfortable and large, unfortunately there is no window in the bedroom that can be opened, but a ceiling fan. The bathroom was mini, as was the sink; storage was available in a small high and sink cabinet. The ventilation must be switched on when showering. We would come back.

We were very warmly welcomed by Karin and her husband and also the contact during our stay there was very pleasant! Thank you! The two were very flexible with the check-in/check-out times. The house was very clean and there was nothing missing. It's very quiet and you can make great excursions by bike. Cycling through the beautiful flower fields was fantastic! You can also do the trips to the beach/sea by bike. There is great beach clubs with delicious food. The nearby town of Leiden is also worth a visit. Such as Delft, Haarlem or Utrecht. All well accessible by car.

We had a wonderful time at Maayke's house. We were there with a family friend and were able to fully enjoy the stay. Especially great for our daughter: the two dairies with access to the animals, the nearby lake and the sea. Getting around by bus and train was totally easy and like the times before, we were very excited about the infrastructure of the Netherlands. Thanks for the wonderful time and the easier and more personable communication with you, Maayke! Highly recommended.

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

We stayed a weekend in the cottage. Upon entering the village, tranquility overwhelmed us. The water, the boats, the meadows, just wonderful. And all this just a 15-minute drive from The Hague and Leiden, top location! The cottage was the cherry on top. It was just refurbished, is very clean and is big enough for 6. The beds are nice and soft, slept very well. The garden and animals were on the private part so we had no direct view of this. Glad we could take a look. We could send Stan a message at any time with questions. It was nice that he checked to see if the self check-in had gone well. We had some problems with the weekend reservation, but we could always count on Stan! A huge sense of hospitality. The attention on arrival was very pleasant. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Noordwijk is so nice. The Beach houses are lovely, stylisch - great! We loved it, even with the heavy wind and rain sometimes. We will come back 😍 Thank you for having us!

The house is very quiet and you can walk to the great sandy beach in a few minutes. There are some restaurants and beach bars nearby and by bike you can quickly get to Nordwijk, where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping. The beautiful garden and the terrace with table and chairs also allow you to have a nice evening in the vacation home and cook something delicious in the well-equipped kitchen. If the weather is not so good, you can also make yourself comfortable on the sofas in the living room or sit at the table and play cards. We felt very comfortable and were very warmly received by Nicky. She gave us some tips regarding restaurants, etc. and was also on time on the day of departure to say goodbye to us. Overall, a great getaway, which we will definitely repeat on occasion.

We had a lovely stay at Nanette's! The place was clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped. The mattresses (we slept upstairs on the right) were also very good and we could sleep well in them. Nanette is a warm host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She also gave us a lot of good tips for our stay. The house is quite far outside. For us, the reason to rent this house. In the brasserie, which is within walking distance, on a small harbor, there is a small selection of good tasting dishes. A small supermarket can also be reached in about 10 minutes by bike. On some days (depending on the weather) there was a small odor problem in the bathroom from the drain pipe. Nevertheless, we will also consider renting this house in the future.

A very nice place in a great location. Everything is easy to reach by bike or car. If you have any questions, they always responded super quickly and always helped directly.

Great stay! The apartment is centrally located on a beautiful canal. Despite being on the ground floor, it felt very private. Quiet, lovely design, comfortable--and a very responsive and helpful host who went above and beyond. We hope very much to return again!

Super apartment in the perfect location! Although you live just a few hundred meters from the beach promenade, the area is very quiet. The tram can be reached in 5 minutes, a few nice bars, a petting zoo and small shops are also right around the corner. The apartment itself is very attractively designed and corresponds to the pictures and description. Only parking is complicated and expensive - it is best to go to a parking garage (cost about 35 EUR / day). We felt very comfortable - thank you!

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable. Check-in was super easy and it was well described where we needed to go. From there we could easily go to the beach every day and get to the city. We felt at home:)
