Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Katwijk

Wir wurde sehr herzlich von Karin und ihrem Mann empfangen und auch der Kontakt während unseres Aufenthaltes dort war sehr angenehm! Vielen Dank! Die beiden waren sehr flexibel mit den check-in/check-out Zeiten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man kann tolle Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad machen.Durch die schönen Blumenfelder zu radeln war traumhaft! Auch die Ausflüge zum Strand/Meer kann man gut mit dem Rad machen. Dort hat es tolle Beach Clubs mit leckerem Essen. Auch das nahe gelegene Städtchen Leiden lohnt es zu besuchen. So wie Delft, Haarlem oder Utrecht. Alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Wij verbleven een weekend in het huisje. Bij het binnenrijden van het dorp overviel de rust ons. Het water, de bootjes, de weilanden, gewoonweg zalig. En dit allemaal op slechts 15 minuten rijden van Den Haag en Leiden, top ligging! Het huisje was de kers op de taart. Het was net opgeknapt, is zeer proper en is groot genoeg voor met 6. De bedden zijn lekker zacht, heel goed geslapen. De tuin en dieren lagen wel op het privédeel dus hier hadden we geen rechtstreeks zicht op. Fijn dat we wel even een kijkje mochten gaan nemen. We konden Stan op eender welk moment een berichtje sturen bij vragen. Het was fijn dat hij even checkte of het zelf inchecken goed was verlopen. We hebben bij de reservering van het weekend wat problemen gehad, maar op Stan konden we steeds rekenen! Een enorm gevoel van gastvrijheid. De attentie bij aankomst was heel aangenaam. Wij hebben een top verblijf gehad!

Laurien en Floris’ home is everything one could wish for during a family stay on the Dutch coast. Prior to arrival we were sent clear instructions that helped us find our way in- and outside the house. The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries and very accommodating. The house is also amazing for children- with a trampoline, a slide and a whole room full of toys! The house is located nearby arguably the best beach in the Netherlands. It is 3 mins walking distance to this beach and beach bars. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we can’t wait to come back!

met nog 7 vriendinnen vierde ik mijn 50ste hier. Wat een perfect huis daarvoor! grote keuken net veel werkblad, leuk zitje (voor bijv ontbijt) bij de keuken. In de woonkamer kletsten we en deden Hitster, helemaal voorin het huis aten we diner met zicht op de vaart. smiddags borrelen we buiten op het terras en op de steiger aan het water waar de sloepjes af en aan voeren. We hadden prachtig weer en hebben dus 4 x op een andere plek gegeten. Omdat het gezin daar zelf vaak woont moet je het niet met een hotel of huurhuis vergelijken. Je krijgt een huis met kamers en laatjes waar ook hun eigen spullen in zijn, en het huis is te zien dat er een familie in leeft . Voor ons juist fijn want dan zijn er al kruiden, vaatwasblokjes, verschillende glazen en serviezen. Ook erg genoten van de sauna en alle mooie kunst in huis. Perfecte dagen gehad en Wisse had alles tot in de puntjes voorbereid. hoogtepunt was onze voortocht op zondag zo vanaf het huis (zelf geregeld met een vriend die daar woont)

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation house. The location was perfect - peaceful yet conveniently close to everything we needed. The garden was a real highlight! The beds were very comfortable. Communication with Bas was excellent. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Das Haus liegt in einem Bungalowpark und das Städtchen und das Meer ist per Fahrrad in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Es hat einen Whirlpool mit herrlicher Aussicht auf ein weites Feld. Hängematte, Trampolin, Spielwiese, alles ist vorhanden. An kühlen Abenden kann einfach ein Gas-Cheminée-Ofen eingeschaltet werden. Die offene Küche bietet alles was es braucht. Wir haben es sehr genossen, mit dem Fahrrad durch die Dünen zu fahren und Zeit am wunderschönen Sandstrand zu verbringen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

The home is beautiful, comfortable and exactly as described with a lovely welcome from their 2 friendly cats. The area is beautiful and really easy bus access to Leiden or walking. As first time, The instructions manual and suggestions we found exceptionally thorough and helpful. We felt right at home here. Our hosts Suzanne and Michiel communicated regularly and were wonderful hosts, we highly recommend them and their hospitality.

The apartment is in a perfect location and very nice. Only the bathroom is a bit too small in our opinion, but overall we would recommend. The host is very friendly and responsive.

Luba was a very communicative and friendly host. The flat was absolutely beautiful—probably the nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus – es war sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Überall schöne Deko, frische Blumen – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Für unsere Kinder war es ein Paradies: tolle Spielsachen, eine Verkleidungskiste, Bastelmaterial – sie waren stundenlang beschäftigt und überglücklich. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Strand. Die Gastgeberin Anne war sehr freundlich, der Empfang durch Ruub herzlich und sympathisch – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Tolle Unterkunft, wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos. Der Ausblick aufs Meer einfach traumhaft . Es war nur ein Kurztrip, hat sich aber wie ein längerer Urlaub angefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit gern wiederkommen. Haben uns super wohlgefühlt.

Excellent apartment with all what you need for a good holiday in Den Haag. My flight was delayed, but there was no problem with late check-in. Great and quiet location with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby.

Great place to stay in Leiden! Very responsive hosts who were quick to answer questions. The location. Was excellent…walkable and pretty spot by a canal. We rented bikes for the few days we were there and one day did a long ride through the tulips in Lisse. The home was clean and spacious and the kids loved having easy access to Netflix and lounging on the big couch after our long days exploring. Highly recommend.

Wij hebben genoten van het huis met uitstekende voorzieningen waar goed voor is gezorgd door de hosts! Schoon en net huis, het uitzicht, de schilderijen... Magisch mooi!!!😍 Daarnaast is het dichtbij het strand Perfect als wij even wilden uitwaaien :) Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf Ben & Anne Bakker!

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Gut gefallen hat uns der private Garten und der offene geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnbereich. Natürlich war die Katze Poppy das Highlight für unsere Kinder. Poppy ist eine freundliche und pflegeleichte Katze. Die Anbindung an den Strand ist wie beschrieben wirklich super und schnell erreichbar. Ebenfalls gibt es viele Möglichkeiten Unternehmungen und Ausflüge zu machen. Es gab stets einen freundlichen und schnellen Austausch mit den Gastgebern. Es war sehr schön.

Really enjoyed this last minute booking after arranging our tickets to the historic Dutch GrandPrix 2021 Formula 1. The Host Vivian was a great communicator pre, during and post the event. She arranged a pass through ticket to the closed event area within Zandvoort, which was a unique ticket to have closer access to the event by car. The house has a lot of charm, especially the living room and the garden with its relaxing area that was very welcome after a day of 20 thousands steps in Zandvoort.

hermiëtte is realy a nice host, she's so helpfull. she have a really nice house too, it was so clean and neat. and it has all the facility u can have in as a family house. it is close to the park, and the park have a nice playground. its not too far from the station, its around 15min with bicycle, she even lend us their bicycles. it have a heater, so we don't freeze at winter weather, she also put so many winter coat, shawl, gloves, beanies, and warm blanket that we can use. it also have many toys n activity for children. my kids definitely love the big trampoline outside. such a lovely place to stay with family n kids. we love it. thank you Hermiëtte and Al, we really have a nice stay at this house. definitely will stay here again if we go to denhaag.

It was such a pleasure and privilege to stay at this home. The house is worthy of museum status — a gem of art nouveau glass and tiles. But it also features a fantastic modern kitchen, great WiFi, and comfortable beds. In other words, the best of both historic and modern. The location is perfect, with steps-away access to transit, groceries, dining, and more. Adjacent to a canal, the site is also a natural haven, filled with nighttime sounds and daytime bird life. We were treated to a goose family with multiple goslings for part of our stay! Washer/dryer are great, as was the tv and other appliances. And finally, the decor is stylish and interesting….perfectly themed for those interested in travel. Having stayed at nearly 100 Airbnbs, this was one of our all-time favorites.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhigem Bungalowpark. Nah zum Strand, gute Ausgangsmöglichkeit um Zuid-Holland zu entdecken.

Ein absolutes Schmuckstück direkt am Kanal – ein Traum für Design-Liebhaber! Dieses Haus ist einfach ein kleines Paradies mitten in Haarlem! Die Lage direkt am Kanal ist nicht nur malerisch, sondern auch herrlich ruhig – perfekt zum Entspannen. Der kleine Garten ist eine grüne Oase, liebevoll gestaltet und ideal für einen Morgenkaffee oder ein Glas Wein am Abend. Die Inneneinrichtung ist außergewöhnlich – modern, exklusiv und mit ganz viel Gespür für Stil und Atmosphäre. Jedes Detail ist durchdacht, jedes Möbelstück scheint mit Bedacht ausgewählt. Man spürt sofort: Hier hat jemand mit Herz und einem feinen Sinn für Design eingerichtet. Die Betten sind herrlich bequem!
