Family-friendly vacation rentals in Katwijk

A nice cottage in a funny old folk garden neighborhood near Schiphol. We enjoyed the space, the jacuzzi and the tip for a massage nearby. Communication with Marcel was clear and extremely friendly.

Thanks to Anita for being a great host. She was very responsive to queries from booking until checkin. The house was exactly what was described in the website. The location is perfect for stay with the beach closeby. The commute was also excellent, given that the Tram stations was very close and walkable. We had absolutely no issues and had no reason to disturb the host. Thank you so much for helping with a comfortable stay throughout.

We felt comfortable. We liked the private garden and the open tastefully furnished living area. Of course, the cat Poppy was the highlight for our kids. Poppy is a friendly and easy-care cat. As described, the connection to the beach is really great and quickly accessible. There are also many ways to do things and excursions. There was always a friendly and quick exchange with hosts. It was very nice.

We had a lovely time in the cottage. The garden is completely fenced, so even small kids can go out without a care. With the stroller you can get to Nordwijk within 40 minutes, there are small sandy areas where we had to carry it. And of course a few hills through the dunes.

Beautiful cottage, great location with a private garden with hot tub and barbecue. Very good kitchen equipment. Beach within walking distance. We had a great time!

Perfect home for the 5 of us. Close to train and bus for trips to Harlem, Amsterdam and elsewhere. Nice quiet neighborhood. Appreciated recommendation to rent bikes from Behind the Beach. They had both standard and electric bikes. If it’s your first time to Holland remember the homes have very steep narrow stairs to second and third level but this home also has sturdy hand rails! Thanks for a great stay!

We have spent a perfect vacation with my family at the house. The house is located in a calm, safe and very nice area, close to the city center and restaurants, stores etc. The whole vibe in the house is something special - very nicely decorated, spacious, cute garden, cozy living room… the second we stepped into the house, it almost felt like home and we felt like locals for a couple of days:) we were even welcomed with a cute Easter gift for our daughters, a treat for the parents and fresh flowers on the kitchen table. All in all, I could only recommend this place and I would come back any time. Thank you Roland & the family, we had an amazing time!

Ideal for group trips, unfortunately the windows could not be opened well because handles were missing, so it was quite warm, a larger pot would be nice, otherwise everything was good, bathrooms were good and clean, great roof terrace

We felt very comfortable; the house was very clean and tidy, and the amenities were great. There's a good restaurant, a beach bar, and a bike rental nearby. The area is ideal for excursions in all directions, and the beach isn't far either. Katy is a fantastic host, helpful, friendly, and always available. She gave us great recommendations for the area and was very accommodating. We can definitely recommend her and her house for a holiday in Noordwijk. Thank you so much for everything! ☺️

We really loved staying at the beautiful farm island! The cottage was really charming and the cows nearby and the nature were really idyllic. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain and thunder which is why the stairs on the outside were a little bit tricky but besides that it’s the loveliest place! 🌻🌞⭐️ Margot even let us try raw milk and cheese from their cows which was super nice!

We had very relaxing days at Nathalie's, who was very hospitable and always helpful. The house was quiet, clean and furnished with everything you need. The beach and the center are within walking distance. Personally, I was bothered by Noordwijk that we could not visit all the beach bars with our dog, even in a quiet time.

Katharina is one of the nicest hosts we have met. We loved our stay in her cute tiny house. The village is very quiet, super clean, and im sure in summer gorgeous when the flowers are in blum. The garden is perfect for our little dog, and we always enjoy having a full kitchen to use in holiday. We hope to visit again someday in the future!

We were very pleased! We felt welcome right away, the two live right next door and greeted us personally. They also warmly welcomed our little dog with a drinking bowl to go and treats. She was always available to answer any questions. We were able to park on the property, which is extremely rare in Noordwijk but absolutely recommended. We will definitely come back! 😇

Nice tiny home for a stay in Noordwijk. Walking distance to the beach and private parking.

Petra was super flexible, because we were there much earlier than planned and she spontaneously welcomed us personally and briefly explained everything in the apartment. She responds to messages in great detail, super friendly and super fast. The accommodation is totally practical and warmly furnished - we even had a small welcome “package”. Bed and sofa bed are comfortable! The closet in the bedroom is huge and the sleeping bunk for children is a highlight! Where the best thing was simply the garden plus the view from the terrace of the meadow with the cows. It was quiet, even if you could sometimes hear an airplane - but it didn't bother us. Parking is also good and the location is great - you can reach everything quickly and easily! It was really great!

Our stay was perfect. The house is comfortable, clean, well located. The dunes, tulips and Leiden in a few pedal strokes. A calm barely disturbed by the flight path of planes from Schiphol in the background. A children's playground just behind the house is really a plus. Max was very considerate, full of good advice. We highly recommend this host.

Very nice weekend stay for the family. Karin is a nice and fast hostess. The house met all our expectations. We will be happy to come back.

Aline's place was just wonderful. We found it in a very clean condition. Thanks for the great welcome gift ❤️ The accommodation is as described, there is just everything you need. You can use directly on the campsite and all the benefits (playground, pool and kids club). Our kids enjoyed it very much. But also has a quiet retreat in Aline's chalet. From here you can go anywhere in 15-20 minutes by bike. Beach or The Hague city center, all within easy reach. We'll be back

The house was well designed with lots of neat details. Michiel was a nice and responsive host who always answered our questions. The house is very well located only a bikeride from the beach, and Shops and train station are within walking distance. Cleanliness of the kitchen could have been better (we rewashed everything because apparently the filter in the dishwasher was full so the dishes weren't clean upon arrival).

Great location lovely home. All family have had the best time. You definitely recommend!

There were six of us on a family vacation with two kids and grandma and grandpa. We had a great time at Karin's house. It is perfectly equipped, very clean and lovingly furnished. The park offers many activities, but not everything is described as on the homepage (e.g. electric cars for kids are not in operation). We were in the off-season in May and there was quite a lot of activity in the park. If you are looking for peace and solitude, this is the wrong place. It was perfect for us with the kids. The beach is fantastic. Would love to come back!

What a stunning property to have our week in the Netherlands with our blended family! Lucy is a fabulous host! Would thoroughly recommend her and would love to come back. We had lots of room to spread out in gorgeous peaceful surroundings with easy access to Heemstede, Haarlem, Amsterdam, and the coast. Thank you for letting us stay! It was a privilege!
