Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kapiti Coast District

Great place to stay! The house was full of great books and games and had a very well stocked kitchen. The hosts were great communicating with us and we really enjoyed our weekend away. Definitely would return!

Staying at Chris’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful experience. The home was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming — it was clear a lot of care had gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. But what made the stay truly memorable was Chris himself. From the beginning, his communication was warm, clear, and prompt. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. You can really tell when someone loves being a host — and Chris absolutely does. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking — do it. You’ll be in great hands and will leave with a smile. Thank you again, Chris — I look forward to returning someday!

Blackwood Luxury Hideaway was a perfect location for our group of 4 to stay for three nights whilst we attended a wedding in the area. Janine was super helpful in answering our pre-arrival questions and having the rooms set up to meet our sleeping requirements. The home was beautifully presented, and a lot of thought has gone into the decor / linen / kitchen utensils. The indoor spaces meant we had room to spread out and the day bed became a favorite spot for reading in the sun. The separate areas for outdoor seating where all well used to take in the stunning rural views. And the outdoor spa was a hit and had towels provided for it. The 1.5 bathrooms were very useful when your travel with 4 adults! They were lush with rain shower and beautiful amenities / towels. We would certainly stay again when we come back to visit the area. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We had a great long weekend here, really well set up for groups and families. The kids enjoyed the outdoor area and loved being able to walk down to the beach.

We spent Xmas and new year here. The house has a great outlook over Kapiti Island and there is a comfortable homey lounge with a nice indoor/outdoor flow. The Pohutakawa’s next door were in bloom. We had the grandkids over and they loved the spa pool. There is a mezzanine off one of the bedrooms with an awesome amount of Lego. So, heaven for kids to go up there and have a bit of a play. Huge selection of board games etc and Texas Holdem poker was a hit with our crew. The oven takes a bit of a fiddle and a couple of go’s to get the hang of it. The driveway can be a challenge. We were mainly here to catch up with family, but enjoyed some of the local sights , including the car museum and the Barry Hadfield Nikau forest. Carolin is responsive and overall a great time was had by all.

We absolutely loved staying here! The house was perfectly set up, with all the mod cons you would ever want and need. Especially in the kitchen. The house was beautifully clean and the beds and couches were exceptionally comfortable. And the Spa was absolutely glorious, nice and hot and ready to go, but also freshly cleaned. We has the best weekend. So close to the beautiful beach, and wonderful coffee and brunch spots. 10/10. I would love to return!

An amazing place to stay, recommended to all! Perfect for a family of four. The location is really close to the beach, it’s nice and peaceful and they offer a bunch of items like bodyboards and balls etc to use at the beach. We will definitely be making another booking to stay there in the future.

Very good location, awesome facilities for a big family, 3 levels to enable separate sleeping areas with a bathroom on each level which provides privacy. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The place was warm and cosy, with lots to do and space to spread out. Sarah was lovely to deal with - clear communication and instructions.

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

We had a fantastic stay! The hot tub was ready and warm on arrival, which is a rare treat as it’s often an extra cost and slow to heat up elsewhere. The house was clean, tidy, and spacious, with hotel-quality linen and towels that made it feel more like a boutique stay than someone else’s home. The location is perfect. An easy walk to the town square with a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a playground for the kids. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing family getaway. Check-in was seamless and communication with Tania was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely stay at Kim’s cabin. Enjoyed the garden, the bath, the random books selection as well. Everything was clean and very cute. Love the small attentions too. Waked to the recommended cafe which was really nice. The Otaki Beach market was nice for a stroll on Sunday morning. Lots of places to see in the area! Thank you Kim!

Such lovely hosts , friendly, thoughtful, and really went the extra mile. They checked in with us when the weather turned and brought extra firewood to keep us cosy, plus a surprise some home-baked cookies which absolutely made our day. Felt really well looked after, would definitely stay again!

Idyllic setting, beautiful interior, friendly and helpful hosts: this was a perfect getaway. Natalia and Marc went above and beyond—not only with their warm hospitality, but also with their recommendations for things to do nearby. I only wished we had stayed longer!
