Vacation rentals with a hot tub in New Zealand

Anna’s home is a beautiful, well-kept, and well proportioned house with an absolutely stunning view. We’ve stayed in lots of ‘tiny homes’ but Anna’s truly feels like a proper house, with a separate living room, bedroom, bathroom, and generous outdoor seating area. The home was pristine, and well stocked with everything we’d need. We particularly appreciated the binoculars for birdwatching on lake manapouri. Bed was large and comfy, we got great sleep with zero noise. Shower was hot with good power. We took a day trip to Doubtful Sound (absolutely spectacular; you must do), and we were able to walk from Anna’s place to the harbour, making the trip effortless. You can also take a short walk to lake manapouri and enjoy a swim. Anna was a wonderful host, and was very kind and considerate in her messaging. We loved staying in Anna’s place and would love to stay there again. 11 out of 10!

This is beyond a 5 star stay. Steve and Silv's place was modern, with esthetics and modern touches that pleases the eye, even in the smallest places. You are situated in such a secluded, private area, with too tier amenities like a fire pit, hot tub, and pizza oven (They even gave us fresh pizza dough!). We even got to feed their alpacas which is such a crazy experience! The sunrise and sunset views are magical. Steve and silv have an oasis here, with multiple things that you can do right as you step foot out of the property. They even have a wood shop with stunning items. Thank you Steve and Silv, we'll be back soon, I'm sure anyone reading this will say the same after they experience the magic!

Clint and Anita’s home was Ana amazing place to stay while we were in Queenstown! The views from the bedroom and the hot tub were something out of a movie! The home was private, and clean and tidy. Clint and Anita were extremely friendly and responsive and our stay in their home was excellent. Would definitely stay again when we return to Queenstown.

We had such a fun time at this property. We visited with friends for my Fiancés birthday and it literally had everything we needed! The favourites were the hot tub and table tennis table. The beds were luxurious and comfy with amazing views from each room. It was so peaceful and relaxing - we all had a perfect time. Thanks so much for having us!

Fantastic would be selling it short! Not only is Brad, super responsive and accomodating, but the location itself over seeing the Bay Area, the outdoor tub (amazing way to wake up) and the intuitive layout inside along with the automation makes this stay an absolute gem!

Max was amazing and we really enjoyed his company, he is such a great host. The house was comfortable and the view was worth everything. We stayed during a storm and even though the weather was bad, we had the best time. I would recommend staying here one hundred percent.

Beautiful cosy place to stay, nice and warm; clean place, and comfortable beds. Nice added benefit of a spa to enjoy and nice area outside too. It was a relatively good price for a three bedroom place with spa, firepit and kitchen facilities, but note that the price increases per number of guests per night, which is not easy to see on the website, hence the score for that. So check if having guests on different nights to work out costings with contact person in advance. Extremely great communications, fast and clear responses. We had a fantastic stay! The hot tub was ready and warm on arrival, which is a rare treat as it’s often an extra cost and slow to heat up elsewhere. The house was clean, tidy, and spacious, with hotel-quality linen and towels that made it feel more like a boutique stay than someone else’s home. The location is perfect. An easy walk to the town square with a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a playground for the kids. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing family getaway. Check-in was seamless and communication with Tania was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again!

Location was great 3 min walk to where we needed to be. Plenty of space for us all. Quiet/warm. Has all the extras if need be. We remedied a duvet cover we stained and happy to pay the reimbursement of that. We do apologise for that. Thank you for the stay.

Zane's place is amazing! Phenomenal views of Akaroa and the bays. Home is gorgeous and well equipped. If you are visiting Akaroa, we highly recommend a stay here!

We had planned to stay a few years ago but sadly Covid stopped our plans so it had been a long time coming and it did not disappoint in the slightest! The location was perfect and the house was spacious and grand yet had cosy areas to sit around the fire, all the games the kids could dream of a a chefs dream kitchen! Not to mention the spa and the wonderful bath for those of us that wanted to simply relax! We have already booked again and can’t wait! What a find xx

Very relaxing and well thought out, the host was very accommodating. Highly recommended a couple nights, the late checkout makes leaving so much more relaxing too.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here & would love to come again. It was the perfect getaway spot, not too far off from the main road but far enough to have privacy. The view was absolutely gorgeous, the cabin was super clean & tidy. All necessities were complete & the bed was also very comfy. Corrie was also very responsive and thoughtful. This place is the perfect getaway trip for couples trying to enjoy peace, privacy, and a stunning view!

This place is a must stay! The bath outside under the stars is incredible, the quiet peaceful location is just what you need for an escape. Robyn and Dan were excellent hosts, quick to respond, had lots of local recommendations, and they made us feel very welcome. The house was very clean, had every amenity we needed, the softest bathrobes, and the welcome champagne paired nicely with a bath under the stars. This stay was the start of our anniversary trip around New Zealand and it was the perfect start to our trip!

From my Mrs: My partner and I LOVED our stay. I was in awe of everything, we had a bath underneath the stars, had a nice hot meal in the little kitchen at the top — waking up to the nice golden light in the morning and being able to see Whakaari UGH perfection. The beach is a 7 minute walk away and it’s so cool! The horses there are beautiful. Just everything here was so good and relaxing, felt really sad to leave but definitely keeping this place as one of our go-to’s for some time away from home. Thank you, Sarah!
