Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kansas

The cabin was perfect for our family! Plenty of sleeping space for the ten of us! Would recommended for any large family! Wished we could have enjoyed the outside amenities more, but the rainy days were very much needed! Thank you for having us!

Tracey's Garden Escape property is a charming, eclectic respite from the typical airbnb and the world itself. Tracey is a sweetheart and gave us a quick tour of the property then let us do our thing. The garden out back was in full bloom and helped add to the atmosphere of peace, leisure and seclusion. The hottub, of course, was fantastic. Lastly, let it be known that Tracey's Garden Escape is equipped with just about any thing you might need for a great stay why she even had yoga mats!

Erik and Sarah's place had everything you could possibly imagine! It felt they anticipated any possible need a guest could have and provided it in some way...toiletries, snacks, games, instructions for how to use things, local recommendations, etc. Unfortunately, we were just there for one night. We arrived late and had to leave almost first thing in the morning, so we didn't get to spend as much time thee as we would have liked, but it was clear our family of four would have been comfortable their for several days. Erik was also great! He greeted us when we arrived despite our flight delay and made sure we had everything we needed. He was great at communicating leading up to our stay and during our departure. I'd definitely stay there again!

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.

Beautiful area, adorable cabin, and the hosts were friendly, proactive, and great with communication.

As described, it is a working ranch!!!! It was a treat to see the animals.

We had a lovely stay. It's spacious, quiet, beautiful views, comfortable, and close enough to Lawrence for easy access.

Cindy's cabin was just what we needed to relax after a local wedding and to keep our pet safe and cool while we were out for the festivities. Comfortable, well-appointed accommodations. Cindy was friendly and helpful throughout the process. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t say I’ve stayed the night in a scale house until last night. This is a great, no frills, place to stop and lay your head if you’re passing through or in for the weekend. The king bed is really comfortable! The space is just as described. Ryan was really nice and flexible with a quick schedule change on our end.

We rented all four cabins, and had the best time. My kids and grandkids fished, sat around the campfire, and laughed for three days and nights! The Cabins at Rocky Pond are a hidden jewel. Super clean, AC/heat, full bathroom, and lofts for the kids. Excellent hosts! We shall return.

The apartment was quiet, clean, and easy to get to. Free laundry on site was plus!

It was absolutely lovely. I am so happy with my stay. A couple of cautions- the walk to the private entrance may be difficult for mobility impaired individuals and the wifi was spotty. Honestly nothing worth lowering the review tho! The pool was perfect, the sauna was lovely, and we made ourselves right at home ☺️

Mark’s place had all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay. He was easy to work with and had a clean home. We had plenty of space for family. Mark had outdoor activities that were easy to utilize if a person wanted to do so. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. Our daughter’s special day was seamless!

Just as listed. Worked great for our needs in Manhattan this weekend. Pet friendly was a requirement for us this stay. Location was perfect for our event at the fairgrounds. Will try to stay here again if we need another stay stay in Manhattan. Only thing that night stop us from doing so is the two night minimum stay requirement.

Excellent place to stay! We were in town for the Aggieville Showdown and could not have asked for a better location. Being three minutes from the fairgrounds was awesome, and the layout of Tara’s space was perfect. We felt right at home. We’re hopeful we can book it again next year!
