A great place to stay in downtown Russell. This historical building is updated with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was super-comfortable (love the Ugg Bedding, so cozy). My husband was grateful to be on the ground floor (NO STAIRS). We travel across Kansas often and are getting to the age where we like to break up the trip. Russell is a quiet town with very nice people. Jon is a responsive host, even offered to save our forgotten beer for the next time we come. It’s all yours, Jon. Enjoy! We will stay here again next time through Russell.

My wife and I had a great stay at Cheryl's guest suite! From a dedicated parking spot, to easy access, to a fully stocked and immaculate space, I would 100% recommend staying here. The location can't get any better - 18 mins to downtown, 30 mins to airport, walking distance to old OP. Cheryl is an excellent communicator, and was so friendly and accommodating for us on check in / check out.

Super friendly hosts! Easy check in and check out. Super clean little place for Two. We visited family in Derby and the drive was easy peezy. We enjoyed our stay.

This place ranks at the top of all the Airbnb’s we have stayed at. Exceptional! And suited us just right. It’s. Little bit of a walk (.5 miles) to Mass Street - but easily walkable. And several restaurants even closer.

We had an amazing stay! The entire space was super clean—you can tell the hosts really care about the details. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep every night. One of our favorite parts was the kitchen setup—it had everything we needed, and the espresso machine was such a bonus! It made mornings feel extra special. Our stay with Bethany was so delightful. She is a beautiful, gracious Host with an easy personality to match. We immediately felt at home as we were in town for a family memorial gathering that lasted Saturday afternoon and most of Sunday. My wife and I will definitely use her Lodge next time we have a family gathering in Courtland KS

Clean, bright, cheery, uncluttered, welcoming, spacious, quiet, nicely furnished and stocked. We loved the proximity to the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum and restaurants. When we return to Abilene, we will plan our visit around the availability to stay here again. Thank you for clear instructions on access, departure guidance, and a very thoughtfully appointed and maintained property.

The tv in the main living room wasn’t connected to the internet and we could never figure out how to get it to connect so we weren’t able to use it, but other than that it is a very beautiful loft. It was very clean, smelled very good, and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Really neat building. Love the super clean space and the spacious room. Appreciate the appliances and the coffee/tea/granola bars available. Although short, we had an enjoyable stay.

My friends and I loved staying here. We had stayed for a week to celebrate a birthday and the place was very cozy and clean. The furnishings were great, and our hosts were very receptive and friendly. They had even gotten a bonfire started in the fire pit for us so we could enjoy their lovely patio in the back yard. The location is safe and walkable, with a restaurant plaza within walking distance full of great options. For the price, location, and all of the amenities, this place is a gem to say at, and Brian and Kari were gracious hosts who made sure we stayed comfortable for the entire stay. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time at this location. Many options for dining and entertainment all within minimal walking distance. Amenities were nice, pay attention to hosts directions as the hallways can get confusing without. We enjoyed our stay and would book again with this host

Joy was a fabulous host. He place is beautiful and in a perfect location. I was there for my daughter’s graduation and it was in a perfect location. The patio is beautiful and a great place to relax. I would definitely go back! Thank you!!

We came to Lawrence to visit our daughter. This place was perfect for lounging in the evenings- family game night, movies, time to catch up. The couch is a pull out, so plenty of space. Darling Farmer’s Market in the parking lot Sat. mornings. Great location! We plan on booking again!

Great location for KU visit while having all the perks of Mass St. shops/restaurants/shopping steps away. Fun garage door open concept was perfect on a spring day and the Saturday farmers market right outside was a pleasant bonus. Once we mastered the parking app, things simplified- but it was a bit confusing at first as the app was having some technical issues with location. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and host was quickly responsive with some TV issues we had. We would definitely stay at The Happy Hawk again.

The location can’t be beat and the condo has everything we needed for a week long stay. The bed was really comfortable too. We’d definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Lawrence!
