Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kansas

Outstanding place to stay. Super responsive host and well-stocked, pristine place. Will definitely stay here again next time!

The rooftop patio and cleanliness of the space is the star of the show here. After a long day of travel, sitting outside and watching the sunset from the patio resets all the batteries. The bathroom is so chic and clean. I took a picture of the tiled floor because I could not get over it. The space, bed linen and bath towels were pristine. The couch looked worn and faded compared to the rest of the space. I did appreciate the clean cushions on the outdoor chairs! There were some sweet and welcoming touches. If you put the address in your gps, it will take you to the front of the house of course. But you need to be at the back of the house, in the alleyway, to find the white box to park in. If our travels take us though Kansas City again, this will be my top choice.

My adult children and grandchildren arrived prior to my husband and I. they had all the sleeping arrangements picked out for everyone and gave me a tour. the A-frame was spectacular upon entering the kitchen went on for what seemed a mile, beautiful, white, marble kitchen with gorgeous stainless steel appliances. and the deck beyond the family room. the three tweens slept upstairs it was perfect for them and they loved it. we slept on the main floor, perfect! my daughter and son-in-law on the lower level along with my other daughter on the pull-up sofa. we were all very comfortable and happy with the arrangements. we went to the beach one day. the kids went hiking around the house with the metal detector one day and then it rained. we went to Pillsbury something with a waterfall and goofed around for a while. came home and ate and watched amazing sunsets. had a glow stick/necklace party on the deck after dark, then it stormed. played the game Life for 3 eves in a row, I think Emmy won

A cozy, comfortable place to make home for a few days with friendly hosts. Perfect size for a couple or small family, and love that our dogs were welcome.

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy a quiet relaxing place to stay. We drove our side-by-side around the county and enjoyed the countryside. Had bond fires in the evening and relaxed, cooked hot dogs and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful. Tim and Lisa are great hosts.

The property was very well cared for and set up for our stay. It is a few miles from town which makes it very peaceful with alot of walking areas. Great communication throught the process.

This was a long overdue get together with my adult siblings. The place couldn’t have been more perfect for spending a weekend together. The kitchen had everything, it was cozy, plenty of places to chat, hang out, play cards and dominos. Four bedrooms and the whole place was beautiful with a Koi pond, covered patio, Fireplace. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay. Jennifer was very responsive when we had a question. We will definitely be going back. A+ for this experience.

Great place to stay especially if you have dogs. We have 3 and it’s hard to find places that will allow 3 dogs. Plenty of room for them to run out energy after a long car ride. House was cozy and just the right size. Better than staying at a small hotel.

The stay was exactly what we needed. Close to the event we went to and more room than a standard hotel.

We have stayed in many AirB&Bs and this home in Overland Park is the best one we’ve stayed in! It was squeaky clean, had quality craftsmanship, tastefully decorated, well stocked with anything you may need, a comfortable bed, and the perfect location! I appreciate that Cheryl and Steve warmly greeted us upon arrival, and were available next door if we needed them. However, they also gave us plenty of privacy. We didn’t cook, but there was a full kitchen we could use if we stayed longer. We appreciated the washer and dryer and closet to hang up clothing as well as the comfortable sleeping cots for our two young kids. The huge Farmers Market was temporary relocated behind the AirBnB, which made a perfect place to get breakfast on Saturday morning. Down the street there was a playground and a park, which would be nice place to go with littles. They also have a swing set in their yard, which was nice for our kids to get the wiggles out before we hit the road. We will return for sure!

The area was perfect, easy to find, clean, welcoming, and just overall perfect! We loved our stay while my oldest had his KSU orientation and would 100% stay again! Thank you!

A convenient place to stay in Hays. Felt hard to stay quiet for downstairs neighbors due to squeaky floors, but everyone would deal with this and it provided a more authentic historical experience. Larissa was delightful in our conversations and responded basically immediately.

Young is a wonderful host! She was very responsive and welcoming! Her place was clean and comfortable. If you need anything she is quick to help! Great stay!

Megan is an exceptional host. The place is exactly as described. Perfectly clear instructions for entry and departure. We were very impressed with all the details within the apartment. The bed was super comfy….& I will admit I am a bed snob! My husband and I enjoyed it very much. We loved walking around the area and to the Capital. I will book again in a few weeks when I return to visit my son who lives nearby.

My friends and I loved staying here. We had stayed for a week to celebrate a birthday and the place was very cozy and clean. The furnishings were great, and our hosts were very receptive and friendly. They had even gotten a bonfire started in the fire pit for us so we could enjoy their lovely patio in the back yard. The location is safe and walkable, with a restaurant plaza within walking distance full of great options. For the price, location, and all of the amenities, this place is a gem to say at, and Brian and Kari were gracious hosts who made sure we stayed comfortable for the entire stay. Would highly recommend!

This place is Great for outdoor activities and Family! The cabin is has comfy beds, clean bathroom, and a great kitchen. We were working around the Area and this cabin made the afternoons fun and relaxing, the morning coffee was great with the beautiful view of the lake out in the front porch allowing you to bathe in nature's view and air! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing trip away from the city! 10/10

I loved it here - drove on my way to Vermont from Santa Fe. Gorgeous sunset and incredibly quiet, peaceful setting. So many birds! My dogs and I took a run miles down the secluded dirt road in the morning and didn’t see a single car. It was perfect. Beware of horses that come up pretty close, especially if you have dogs (like mine!) that aren’t that great with them. That was on me, I should have been more aware. Also, use Apple Maps, not Google, to navigate. I was taken to a place about 15 mins away that was wrong. Awesome place overall. Well worth it. Would stay again. And I slept great!

Everything about this stay was top-notch. The cabin was a perfect fit. It had everything thing I needed and then some. The surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. I hope to stay again when I'm back working in Wichita.

The yard was large and great for kids. We picked a rainy weekend but enjoyed the kayaks when it wasn't raining and enjoyed the full windows in the living room when it was raining. Several good places locally to get food or drinks. Good brewery near the river in Council Grove. My kids enjoyed the Ping-Pong table and kayaks the most.

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.

We loved our stay! It was extremely close to downtown! We came to Hays for a baseball tournament and it was literally 6 min from both of the ball parks we played at! We were able to cook some homemade meals in the kitchen. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again! Instructions were easy to follow and the hosts were easy to communicate with!

The most memorable air bnb I have ever stayed at and for the most perfect reasons this is the most beautiful serene cabin getaway giving the feeling of being completely unplugged without ever feeling uncomfortable fun family games on sight with a canoe to fish in! WILL BE RETURNING this place is an absolute must stay at!!! Hosts were amazing and so beautifully accommodating! Could not have asked for a more wonderful experience!
