5-minute walk to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art | Spend the night in Kanazawa while looking at the Japanese garden

We reopened in July 2025. This accommodation is a private Japanese house in the center of Kanazawa City, Ibaraki Town, limited to one group per day. Originally built by a craftsman who was a shipwright, the house is filled with meticulous craftsmanship, such as intricate woodwork and transom decorations. There are 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 9 people, making it perfect for families and group trips. The Japanese garden, which can be viewed from the veranda, is highly regarded by guests. You can enjoy the seasonal expressions, and it will calm your mind for morning coffee or evening moments. The location is also convenient, 5 minutes on foot to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and you can walk to Kenrokuen, Kanazawa Castle, and Katamachi, Kanazawa's best downtown area, so you will have no trouble with sightseeing, dining, and nightlife. However, this house is an old house that has been built for many years.Unlike a hotel with the latest facilities, it is a nostalgic and tasteful space. There are some squeaking noises and quirks in the fixtures, but I hope you will feel that this is one of the charms of this inn. The inn is also located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be quiet at night to avoid disturbing the neighbors. We hope this inn will be a special place that you remember from your trip to Kanazawa. We're looking forward to hosting you.
