Great spot, love it every time that we come and would definitely stay again without a doubt

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is conveniently located near a bus station (2mins) and a subway station (15mins). The house was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Instructions were very clear and everything in the house was labeled to prevent any confusion. Something to consider if travelling with older people is the steep steps that are required to go from the sleeping area to the bathroom. The host Minnie was very friendly and quick to respond! We appreciated the recommendations and added amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. Minnie was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage past checkout. Would love to stay here again!

This is our 2nd time here and we loved it! We really enjoyed the area and surroundings, and found the unit to be very comfortable for us. Its a very easy walk to two train stations, so very easy to get here. Lots of supermarkets nearby and great places to eat. The unit itself is perfect for us as a couple. The kitchen allowed us to prepare food, as we ate in most days. The washer/dryer combo is such a convenience. We can't wait to come back! Mika is a wonderful host and an even nicer person :-)

I stayed with my parents in this flat and loved it. The place was clean and had all what we needed. Natsuko was very kind to be there during the check in and explained everything. Additionally, she documented lots of recommendations and sites to visit nearby. Really recommend to stay here! Arigato Gozaimasu :)

Yuki’s house was perfect for our stay in Tokyo. Modern, charming and clean. Great hot shower and comfortable bed. The house is centrally located in the Hiroo neighborhood. Upscale and quiet, with lots of great restaurants, coffee and shops. A quick walk to the train got us to everything we wanted to see. Yuki and his wife are friendly and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend! Hope to come again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Ryoji’s place!! The space feels like a true traditional Japanese home and it was convenient to many restaurants and the train station. Ryoji was an excellent host and was always responsive. The bathroom and kitchen were so nice! It was truly one of the best showers we’ve ever taken. I appreciate the fact that there was some coffee in the room too! We loved the fact that the 7-11 was just a few steps away as well as a locally owned shop on the corner that always had freshly made snacks. We would stay here again if ever in the Kyoto area!

This was by far our favorite place to stay in all of Japan! The traditional style of the home was an amazing experience. I will never get over this airbnb! Not far from the bus and had amazing views of the temple! 😇😇😇

We simply loved staying in this home. The location is ideal for experiencing Kyoto. Peaceful and quiet and yet five minutes to metro/bus stops. And we also walked to many sites and temples. Ume is a gracious host and the home is a beautiful and historic building. We were very comfortable with two adults and two teenagers. Highly recommended.

The space is beautiful and authentic. It worked well for two people traveling together, but wanting separate spaces. The bathroom upstairs is quite small but can be made to work for your needs. Just note the sink in the kitchen is better used than the one over the toilet. The location can’t be beat and it makes wandering the city easy.

This 95 year old traditional house is beautiful. It's perfectly located, right next door to the Omicho Market and a short walk to the Castle and gardens. We let the host know we intended to walk to the accommodation from Kanazawa Station and she sent through a map and photo guide. She then meet us at the house and gave us a tour of the house and also afood/tourist map. We were there over Golden Week and the host let us know about special holiday attractions we should check out. We highly recommend this accommodation, we loved it.

Wow!! One of our favorite Airbnbs of all time. Kyoko met us at the Terminal Kyoto, and welcomed us warmly and graciously. She shared traditional Japanese treats and gave us a tour of the main house and the art on exhibit (so beautiful!). She then called a taxi for us which brought us to the house. The house is spectacular - Japanese style with beautiful light streaming through the windows- upgraded bathroom looking out on tiny garden- and bedrooms with cozy beds and soft linens. I do not know what is in the pillows but I slept so deeply and peacefully! The kitchen is streamlined and has necessities for basic cooking. And a washer / dryer! The neighborhood itself is wonderful - residential and quiet, a very short walk to the spectacular Kamo River trail which we ran and walked on daily - near Shimogamo Shrine & Tadasu-no-Mori Forest (breathtaking!). Close to a subway store and a grocery store Howdy - and to lovely Manaia coffee with a bakery next-door. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing authentic Kyoto Airbnb Beautiful location

Very easy to get in, with simple house instructions. Everything was clean and comfortable, the garden beautiful and bathtub stunning. Location is very convenient, central and close walking to many things.

Beautiful Airbnb in a quieter area but with great links into the city center. There's a great Udon noodle place just down the street and a few nice cafes. The home itself is stunning and the boat was always friendly and responsive

Great location, close to the subway and to Dotonburi. Host was very responsive to all requests and the space was great for our group of 7.

Good Location, house was just as described. Lin was very responsive and sent very clear instructions before check in. Stayed with 4 adults and 2 small kids. Enough space for everyone. It was nice to be in a standalone building, I was less worried about kids disturbing neighbors.

A great place to relax after spending the day in the hustle and bustle of the Tokyo cities. Soaking in the tub at the end of a long day exploring and walking was what we looked forward to at the end of each day. The entire place was thoughtfully chosen with guests in mind. A short walk to a few trains too and close by to convenience stores. Highly recommend to anyone!

滞在中、不便なことはなく、快適に過ごせました。オーディオルーム、シアタールームもあり、楽しみにしておりましたが、外出時間が多く部屋でゆっくりする時間がなく、利用できなかったのが残念でした。寝るとき以外はほぼキッチンにおりましたが、中庭が見えたり、部屋を見渡せたりと時間を忘れるくらいにゆったり時間を過ごせました。どこの部屋もライティングにこだわりが感じられ、充実していて、自分の好みで調整でき、リラックスできたのもよかったです。

Great townhouse in a beautiful location! Very comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped and couldn’t have been more central to where you want to be. The stream in the back is serene and makes it just that much nicer.
