Cottage near "Koukabocho" in Setouchi National Park - Kai (ocean side) - Entire cottage rental

This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art.There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the sea side building.Free parking is available on site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, with 6 beds in the ground floor bedroom and up to 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, so you can stay between 6 and 8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used not only for family and friends, but also for student training camps, seminar trips, etc. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Kikaburi, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima Island in an interior that uses plenty of wood from local construction shops. We have also started a Naoshima sightseeing tour for guests of Ohana.There are many places where you need to make reservations in advance, such as museums in Naoshima, and I hope to provide you with more fulfilling Naoshima sightseeing, such as arranging tickets, transfers by car, and sightseeing in Naoshima by bicycle rental. In the vicinity of the facility, Mibaru Beach also has a glass boat launch and a marine center! The ocean activities are amazing There are also♪ coffee shops (beach teahouses, mountain teahouses) and you can eat snacks♪ You can have a relaxing time in a place rich in nature, away from the city.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
