The white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and other features have been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization).Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three gardens: a front garden, a courtyard, and a back garden. It is a perfect location where you can see the island of God, where you can heal both physically and mentally. The sun rises to the moment, and the full moon lights up above the sea. You can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes. Since there is no kitchen, we provide a griddle and a portable gas stove so that guests who wish to do so can have a BBQ on the outdoor table.Please prepare your own ingredients.If you want, we can also provide it here.Use of stoves and similar equipment is permitted outdoors only.The area is quiet, so please be mindful of noise, etc. The neighborhood is only a private house, so it is about a 10-minute drive to a nearby restaurant. This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
