Cottage vacation rentals in Istria

My family and I stayed at the Red Fairytale Farm, and it was a truly beautiful experience. The property is full of charming details that give it a magical, welcoming feel. We also ordered the breakfast, which was incredibly fresh and delicious — highly recommended.

Beautiful, very quietly located cottage. The very large property is completely fenced, which was great for our dog. It was all very clean. On request, we were even provided with three bikes. We felt very comfortable.

Everything worked out super well. Unfortunately, we only imagined the garden a little (much) bigger, or the fenced garden is actually just the house entrance, so everything is paved there. That doesn't fit so well with dog... so unfortunately not as described, but otherwise everything worked out.

Everything was beyond our expectations! The house was in perfect condition, squeaky clean, in a very peaceful neighborhood. The host was very quick in responding to all our requests and provided clear instructions and information. They even went out of their way and treated us to a lovely home made cake and bottle of wine as they knew we were celebrating our anniversary. I can confirm that all the appliances I used worked perfectly: sauna, jacuzzi, oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. The patio is great for having relaxing meals. The neighborhood cats dropped by to say hello but they were very reserved and did not disturb at all. Strongly recommend, definitely worth the price. 15 mins drive away from beaches, 25 mins away from lovely fazana and pula.

The stay was very very pleasant !! The sea can be reached in about 10-15 minutes by car. There is a small selection between 4-6 different beaches. The city, shopping and tank options are just as far away and in the same direction. The garden and house was very nice. We enjoyed the pool very much and did his work with a cooling down. The owner lives in the house next door and is very warm and m o'clock. Two small surprises expected and gifted 2 times with tomatoes. The place is clean and you just feel at home :-) Toop!!

The cottage, very quiet location, was fantastic. Beautifully romantically furnished with a beautiful view of the lake from the bedroom. Everything we needed was present and the jacuzzi was great too 😁 We did not meet the hostess in person, but communication went very smoothly via wattsapp. If there were any problems, we could go to the super sweet neighbor Elvira. This is definitely a stay to return to.

A really cool, funky modern cottage that still is one with the environment. Lots of cool quirky touches and fun outdoor games and activities. We used the projector by the pool and the outdoor wood stove was great for cooking. An amazing place to stargaze— at night, the view of the sky in incredible. Close to motovun, but still quite private. Highly recommend!

Small house with beautiful large property with lots of olive trees that provide shade. The house has everything you need and is cool even in the hot season due to an air conditioning. We felt comfortable. Thanks to Antonio and his lovely grandparents!

To experience accommodation in a very traditional, 200 year old house was a very beautiful authentic experience. Podol - a tiny historic village in the middle of a virgin island is an oasis of peace and walks. The sea is only a short drive away. The owners were very hospitable to us. They take care of the fabulous natural garden with love. The garden offers countless fun features for children, but especially many corners with sitting with friends, a partner, or a book and wine. You'll experience total silence, birds singing, the murmur of the wind, and the occasional kinking of wild sheep. We had a great dinner in nearby Valun and Cres. the weather in May was perfect. warm enough for sunbathing on the beach, pleasantly cool in the shade, even in the sea you could swim. Very few tourists. Cres is the most beautiful island of the whole of Croatia for me in terms of virgin nature, peace and cleanliness. We'd love to come back.

The Ana house is a great place to stay with many excursion possibilities within 45 minutes. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating. All coordination in advance and during the stay was very easy and binding.

We had a wonderful, very relaxing time in Vlatkas and Sašas beautiful dacha. The large garden with lots of places to stay, barbecue, pergola and outdoor shower is awesome! Even nicer than in the pictures, everything is done with a lot of love for detail. It blooms in every corner. We were on a different beach in the area every day, one better than the other. The accommodation is also superbly located for hiking or excursions. The fact that an airplane takes off/lands 2-3 times a day did not bother us at all, it is not very loud, not at night and there is no street noise and only birdsong. Lastly, and most importantly, our super warm hosts. The two are really awesome! Rarely experienced such warm, welcoming hosts. They provided us with plenty of tips and attention and made us feel super comfortable. Thank you, Vlatka and Saša for the great time! 🤩😊🙏🌸

We loved our stay at Sonja and Andrej's place! The house was beautiful, well-designed and spotlessly clean. We felt right at home. The outdoor area was a great bonus. Sonja and Andrej were the perfect hosts. They greeted us on arrival and showed us around, and met with us on our last evening with drinks and snacks. It was lovely to get to know them a little bit more! Thank you for the art and lovely honey too. We wish we could have stayed for longer and hope to return. Would definitely recommend to all!

Fantastic location if you want to enjoy peace and a breathtaking view! The pool and outdoor area are absolutely amazing. The house in it or the furniture has come to an end, but did not bother us since we always spent the whole day by the pool! Kitchen and bathroom are newly made and everything was clean! We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back! Be sure to take remedies against mosquitoes and small flies, as the house is in the middle of nature, they like to come and visit a lot!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Green Cottage! Pia and her family were very nice and the house is so pretty, cozy and comfortable with a great view on the sea and Piran. 10/10 recommondation!

Romina's place is just as described, small house, but very functional, has everything you need, in addition to pool, you also have a large back yard, big enough to play some games, exercise, or to play catch with your dog. Also the village Muntic is very nice with very friendly people. You have 2 small stores approx. 5min away by foot, for everything else you would need a car. Great location for cyclists, and for exploring the Pula and surrounding area. Romina or Tamara were great, always quick to respond, all in all, highly recommend this house for your next holidays.

A vacation to be desired, peace and quiet, and very close to all the interesting amenities. Danijela and her son are very welcoming and kind, and they are also big animal lovers. I was with my dog, so our dogs got to know each other a little. I definitely recommend the accommodation to everyone, and especially to those who love peace and nature, and not the city bustle. I hope to see you again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great house with everything you might need. The garden is nice and peaceful. There are bikes that the quests can use, which is a great way to get to the beach. The host is responsive and very nice. Would come here again!

Absolutely amazing, romantic cottage to stay at on our honeymoon. Plus we went on a truffle hunt one of the days and enjoyed an incredible truffle meal cooked by Marjana one of the mornings!

Katarina is the perfect host! She always responded very quickly and gave us a lot of very good recommendations for the region. My husband and I wanted a quiet and sunny hideaway during the grey and cold German winter and got what we were looking for: a very nice and cosy cottage with a beautiful garden with olive trees and lots of sun including beautiful sunsets in front of the cottage. There was enough firewood to warm up the cottage inside and make it even more cosy. We walked through the surrounding nature with our dog and made little day trips to the ocean and the surrounding cities. The food and wines in and around the nearby village Buje are delicious and we enjoyed a lot of good food with fresh fish and truffle. We absolutely recommend this place.

The place was great. As described, everything was clean and everything worked. The outside kitchen is awesome, wood and coal were available. The house is very nice, the garden as well. Highly recommended. Small drawback: mosquitoes, the pool is very fresh and the street is not too far away and you can hear the traffic. But it's really within the scope.

Staying at Mirjana's cottage is fantastic. A private house near the coast and beautiful in the greenery. You can enjoy barbecue and eat outside. The garden, the cottage and the decor make you feel like you are at home, but in Croatia. Couldn't get any better! Communication with Mirjana is smooth and pleasant and we have experienced it as very well in its entirety. We will definitely come back!

It was a dream weekend! It is a magical place where you can recharge your batteries! The house is very comfortable and nice, but the added value is the garden around it from which you can enjoy the sea view! The house is a stone's throw from the beach (free and with white stones) Nearby is the village of Fazana and a long walk along the sea that leads from Peroj to Fazana! We will definitely come back to visit you :-)
