The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

The accommodation is a great starting point for hikes and sporty mountain biking or motorcycle tours.
