Surridge Cottage is beautiful, as soon as we arrived down the lane we knew it would be perfect and it was and more. The cottage has been beautifully restored with high end finishes. Even the heated floor in the bathroom didn't go missed (my daughter loved it). Great location, we took a few trips out. Went into Lyme Regis and took the children to Crealy. If you want a private country break in a cottage, you won't beat it. Thank you, The Mellors x

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

The place was exactly as advertised if not better, everything in the house was easy to use thanks to the guide given and the responsiveness of our host Simon.

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Wow! What an incredible stay. We are so happy with our stay. Everything in the property you’d need to have a relaxing home-like stay. The host recommended visiting Covelly which we loved. The hot tub was a great touch as well. Thank you x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

We had a short sweet stay at the Tower before a trip to Lundy. Westward Ho beach and Appledore village were within walking distance and Bideford harbour (Lundy ferry departure point) was a short drive away. Check in was hassle free, we felt we could have asked if we had any issues (we didn't) the tower itself was lovely and quirky in a peaceful location and had everything we hoped for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom-wise.

We have just returned from a long weekend in North Devon and a stay at Carpenters Cottage, the cottage itself is beautiful, quaint and quirky, we loved it! The roll top bath was fabulous for a long relaxing soak after lots of exploring. The outside space was perfect for us, just a nice space to sit and enjoy a drink of an evening. The log burner, whilst we didn’t use it, had everything you would need to be super cosy. Our host Jon, was spot on with directions etc and recommendations and super helpful going above and beyond with requests I made prior to arrival, thank you 🙏🏻. We would have no problems in recommending Jon and Carpenters Cottage 😊

Ben's cottage was stunning — we loved every moment of our stay. If it were possible to give 6 out of 5 stars, I would have. The surrounding area was breathtaking, we enjoyed wandering through the fields and visited the vineyard, where we sampled some fantastic wine. There were also some excellent local pubs close by, all serving delicious food. Everything felt convenient, peaceful, and just perfect — there wasn’t a single thing we could fault. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Perfect for my friend and i very comfortable & peaceful. We picked it for our short break because it was near to the places we wished to visit, RHS Rosemore, Instow & Appledore & the Burton Gallery at Bideford. So a very succeßful break all round. Would recomend

Harriet's place was amazing. Harriet was very responsive and proactive with helping us with our late check in. The house looks really nice in photos, but it's even better than in real life. We have only one regret, that we couldn't stay longer!

Fantastic cottage in super location. Brilliant hosts, very friendly and the tour of the brewery was great. The ale is excellent too! Lovely grounds for walking and the meadow was perfect for our little dog. We would love to stay again.

I think the photos for this house don't make it justice, the place is amazing! I am pretty sure it was one of our best finds on Airbnb, the kitchen area was a dream! It was perfectly cleaned and cozy, we wished we had more time to spend here!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Dom and Sue have clearly put a lot of thought into the details – the guidebook was incredibly informative and helpful. We especially appreciated the peaceful location, the lovely back garden, and the swing – such a relaxing spot. A special highlight was getting the chance to visit Sue’s beautiful studio and gallery at the back of the garden – truly inspiring! As a family travelling with a baby, we were grateful for the provided travel cot, sheets, and high chair, which made our stay so much easier. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Ideal for two of us attending the music festival. Super place, easy to get around. Easy reach and friendly pub with great food. Comfortable barn conversion with everything we needed. We will very happily return in the future

Anna has created a perfect little home from home in a beautiful little town that is well worth a visit. From the minute you walk through the door everything is just as you would like. Cozy cottage furniture and great amenities. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped and the beds upstairs are very comfortable (and I’m picky!) with lovely bedding and plenty of other accessories. The backyard is small but very private. You can hang stuff out at the end of the day if you’ve been at the beach and know it’s going to be dry even if you have to put it under the covered area over the back door. There’s a very handy hose pipe there to get the sand off your wetsuit too! That’s a hint that we went to Woolacombe and enjoyed the surf. Coming home and relaxing in Anna‘s place was just what you needed after a day in the waves. highly recommended.

Lovely stay with our family here. Fiona was forthcoming with local recommendations and instructions about check in which were very useful. House was in a lovely location making most places walkable. Very accommodating of our young children with high chairs etc. provided.

What a wonderful cottage. We booked it simply as a place to rest our heads between days at the beach; however it was lovely we couldn't wait to go back each day. Really charming interior. Our 11 and 8 year old also really loved it. Supplies in the fridge and cupboard on the first day was a great help too. Thanks so much for a happy family break over half term.

A great little cottage! Our family of 4 was more than comfortable staying here for a long weekend. It would be easy to imagine staying here with 6 people. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed, the location and allocated parking space were ideal, overall just a really high quality rental in a great location.

We had a great holiday staying at 'SeaCrest' in Combe Martin. Both Paul and Becki our hosts were very helpful. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a modern interior. The cottage is right on the beach almost, a perfect location for eateries as well. Although the cottage is next to the pub, this was never an issue, no noise problems and we found the parking simple and always found a space, although we were there in term time. We found plenty to do in the area and loved the countryside and walking the coastal path. We drove to some places but also used the hourly bus service. everywhere was family friendly. We will be back!
