Cottage vacation rentals in Idaho Panhandle

My husband and I had a lovely time. The hot tub was clean , beautiful views, responsive host and very comfortable and gorgeous setting. Plus the chickens and orchard are a cute bonus!

Perfect place to escape! Relaxing on the back porch with the river, favorite! Sleeping at night with the windows open was just like camping listening to the river. House is beautiful and clean. Everything you need is there. Didn’t want to leave! Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you for sharing such a great place to escape!

This was the perfect place for a peaceful weekend with my coworkers before I leave them! The only negatives I have is parking is TIGHT and the deck could use replacing there are a few spots that were a bit scary but otherwise this was the perfect place little place. The host was extremely accommodating, it’s a small bit homey little cabin!

My mom and I celebrated our birthday weekend with our family and had the most wonderful time at the cabin. Lindsey's cabin was the perfect place to reflect and soak in the beautiful view of the mountains and lake. We spent hours just sitting on the couch looking through the the windows at the gorgeous view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals for our long weekend. We drove to Safeway one afternoon for anything else we wanted and it was a short drive. I'm so glad for the clear directions about getting into the driveway and all the other household details written on the fridge. I didn't need to reach out for anything. Towels and toiletries were provided and we enjoyed the hot tub while looking at the lake one afternoon. There were dog hairs on the sofa and throws. It wasn't a big deal and understandably could be from pets of other guests. I do wish this wasn't the case and this would be the only thing that could be improved.

a home of your own a few minutes drive to downtown but feels very private and quiet. 30-40 minutes drive to west glacier entrance. excellent internet for work- zoom meetings for 2 separate people were no problem. hot tub was clean and comfortable. deer were in the yard every day to enjoy crab apples. would not hesitate to stay again!

Wow, no one word can describe this adorable place, maybe spectacular! 😀 It was just what we wanted & needed! Every little detail so thought out, the little touches of notes/gift bag to us upon arrival. The cleanliness was top notch! The amenities, the areas to explore, so many 5-star points on this home! It’s quiet & relaxing, it quite literally had everything we needed & the kitchen was fully stocked! Nespresso vertuo & pods supplied,tea supplied,seasonings,Tupperware,ziplocks,baking sheets, wine glasses, you name it and they had it. Lisa was spectacular to deal with & very prompt if we needed anything, you can see the pride & joy she put into this home. If you are fortunate enough to rent the cottage, you will not be disappointed but please continue to respect the guidelines given as they are very clear & make sure to love this home for every detail it offers, places like this don’t just exist everywhere these days so for those that get to enjoy a piece of it, please cherish it! :)

Cannot say enough good things about this place! As my sister commented “it’s rare to find a place that’s even better in person than in photos” and this was that place! The property was so beautiful and fit my families needs perfectly! We loved that it was so quiet and peaceful yet minutes from town and restaurants if we needed. The hosts were super responsive and friendly! Plus, Daisy was the sweetest the dog! We rented all the properties on site as my family is large and it was just what we needed!

This was a great place to stay for an event we attended at ONE Spokane Stadium. We were able to walk there in about 10 minutes. It was also close to restaurants. At night, it was very quiet so we slept well. The place was so clean and comfortable. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom downstairs, and even though my husband and I are fit and active, and generally not at all concerned with taking stairs, we are also in our mid-50’s so making the trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a little scary!

Randy and Amanda have thought of everything to make our stay at the Birdhouse comfortable and homey. Their neighborhood is peaceful and walkable to nearby Manito Park and other amenities. We enjoyed being centrally located to so many things to do. Downtown Spokane was only a quick ten minute drive. My family will definitely book another stay when we are out this way!

Tish was fantastic! We had our own private area to bbq and access the river. The tiny home was super clean and cozy. Tish seems to have thought of everything that o make sure we had what we needed. Even bathrobes available in case we wanted to use the sauna. My kids and I loved our stay! Thank you.

This was our second stay here and it was perfect, just like the first time. Ryan is a terrific host, responds quickly. We have relatives in the area and this location works great for us.

If you envision a home where you wake up to a plethora of deer in your front yard just grazing, this is your place! Incredibly comfortable and cozy!

Cozy, comfy, spotlessly clean, easy to get to, with astounding views and thoughtful touches (bowls, ball, treats, poopy bags, towel, sheet for dogs) and a much appreciated tea-selection and trail info! A wonderful week!

Beautiful location and the views of the lake are amazing! The house is very well stocked, has everything you need for a great getaway. And there are definitely eagles in the area, saw them on a daily basis. Just know, there is noise from the freeway across the lake that is always present and be careful on the path and stairs down to the lake, it’s no joke.

what a beautiful and peaceful stay. Great location and absolutely stunning views. private dock and deck were a plus. Very close to restaurants and fun excursions. being right on flathead lake was just magnificent. only suggestion for future guests is to check the local fire restrictions (we could not use the fire pit during our stay due to this). other than that, this place is a wonderful jem.

This place was absolutely great. The host is friendly and also it's a really good deal. The only downside was when you fill the inside garbage can you are requested to leave the bag inside the house until your stay is over. I understand that it is to stop animals from getting to it but if there was an outside trash reciprocal this place would be perfect.

I can't recommend this house and hosts enough! The location and home were perfect if you are looking to stay in close proximity to the park entrance in West Glacier. The hosts were incredibly responsive and quite helpful in the planning of our trip, having never been to the area before. They gave great suggestions for hikes and areas to visit within the park. We also biked the Going to the Sun road which is not to be missed if you have the opportunity! Thank you for everything Shelby and Dave!

This spot was lovely. Its in a peaceful location, its quiet, and its beautiful. The host were awesome. They left us some snacks and even some ice cream from a creamery near by. To top it off they wrote my wife a birthday card! Nice touch!

Our stay was fantastic! The host was very involved in a way that felt helpful but never overwhelming. She was incredibly kind—even offering us extra time past checkout just as a thoughtful gesture. The place was spotless and had everything we needed: WiFi, a washer and dryer, two bathrooms, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and a fully stocked kitchen with silverware, dishes, and cookware. One thing I truly appreciated was the reasonable checkout process. Unlike some places that charge a cleaning fee but still require extensive cleaning before departure, she kept things simple and fair. Also, the list of nearby restaurants within walking distance was a great touch! Highly recommend this stay.

Pretty easy to find. Very easy to get in. Jack was kind enough to send me a nighttime photo of the driveway so I would see how it looked after dark. Everything worked out very easily

Corey was very responsive to any requests and questions. The place was clean, comfortable and well stocked with necessary items and bonus items too. Would definitely stay there again!

This was exactly what we needed. The flowers were beautiful. We sat outside and enjoyed the peace and sunshine. The house is set up well, and the bed was amazing. Clean, and you couldn’t find a better spot. Lynne was very responsive and helpful. We will be returning.
