Family-friendly vacation rentals in Idaho Panhandle

Second time staying here for my staff Christmas party. It’s beautiful and lots of room. Great for large groups. We had a fantastic time. Robert and his staff are very helpful if you need anything. You’re in the woods but close enough to town if you need anything. Definitely would stay again. Hopefully next year.

We really enjoyed our stay as the location was perfect and made it very easy to walk around and see the town. The communication was great and the space was perfect for the two of us. Would definitely recommend and we hope to go back soon.

My husband and I had a lovely time. The hot tub was clean , beautiful views, responsive host and very comfortable and gorgeous setting. Plus the chickens and orchard are a cute bonus!

Lisa was an amazing host. She had a plate of wonderful Homemade Banana muffins set out for us on arrival. She had chilled Osmosis/Filtered water in the frig. and a dish of chocolates on the table as well. She had fresh coffee creamer in the frig. She was available for questions; didn't take long to reply and offered to come down when I couldn't figure out the Roku TV. The decorations were tasteful and most depicted the local area. There was plenty of Lighting and night lights so it wasn't necessary to leave a light on to see if you got up in the middle of the night. Comfortable, Cozy and Quiet just like home. We would definitely stay Again.

We really enjoyed The Roost. Had 10 of us and there was plenty of room. Nice Front yard to play frisbee or throw a football, but bring it with you. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings or evenings after a hike. The place served our needs very well and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cabin home near Columbia Falls. Peaceful and beautiful views from the back deck. Very responsive owners and communication was excellent. Quaint and exactly what we were expecting for our trip. Would love to book again on our next visit!

We had a spectacular time at Honey’s Place. The rental was well stocked with everything we needed. All was super clean with beautiful antiques and added touches. The mattresses were best we’ve encountered on our cross country trip. The hot tub was perfect - it was awesome to relax there and see all the stars. The owners were super nice and easy to contact. Bonus: dogs to play with!! We definitely recommend Honey’s Place and hope to return in the future.

Terry was very responsive when we had questions are needed information. The living space was very clean and spacious. It was very easy to find and had lots of room to park. Just a few minutes from downtown and the mall and restaurants makes it a great location. The neighborhood was peaceful and calm. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was our third time staying at Nicole's farm house-- and just like the last two times, it did not disappoint. The Farmhouse is so peaceful and the night sky is stunning. The hiking, biking, and walking on the country road was fantastic. It was just the recharge we needed. Nicole was- as always- communicative but also respectful of our space. She is always happy to give great hiking and biking recommendations. We had a great hike in Joseph, played frisbee golf in the park, and even took a cold plunge in the lake. The local brewery (Terminal Gravity) was excellent. We also utilized the kitchen space and grill so that we didn't have to eat out for every meal. We can't wait to come back!

Great location near Standpoint! Host(s) were very communicative with any small issues that popped up. Would return.

Gorgeous & spacious, we thought it was better than in the pictures! - Nice & cool + heating options, so climate was very adjustable - Cell reception was spotty but available - Kitchen was well furnished and stocked with appliances and utensils - we didn't get to try the wood burning stove but the charcoal grill on the back porch was awesome - Bed in the loft was fun to get to & very comfy. It was nice to wake to so much sunlight coming in through the windows in the morning! - Shower had great water pressure & hot water, we brought our own toiletries. Overall, the entire host family was very welcoming, responsive and proactive, even lighting the grill for us before we got there as we mentioned we were going to grill kebabs upon arrival! Lucky it wasn't fire season yet - think the grill isn't allowed to be used after June 1st. Bonus: sadly we didn't get to meet their chocolate lab, but we did get to meet their horses, Dapper and Tea, as the horse stalls are close by!

We were in the area for a couple days of steelhead fishing and found the Lodge on VRBO within days of our trip. It was perfect for our needs . . . clean, comfortable, and with all necessary amenities. Troy was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive. We will definitely book it the next time we're in the area (provided it's available). We can also independently confirm that the one bar/restaurant in town serves some of the best pizza (and food in general) west of the Missouri. Very friendly staff and, combined with our stay at Troy's place, made our stay in Stites an all-around enjoyable one. Dave L.

This cabin fit our family’s needs. It was well stocked, though some items could use replacing (such as the pullout sofa bed which sunk on one side). I had never stayed in a place with a septic tank system, so perhaps I am sensitive to the smell. The bathroom was right next to the kitchen. Recommend keeping door closed to bathroom when not in use. Overall, the hosts were very responsive and helpful when the power went off. It was fixed right away. The views of the lake couldn’t be beat! I also appreciated that the host didn’t make unreasonable demands to clean the home prior to leaving. Would recommend to others!

This place was such a serene home away from home. Close to everything and far from everyone all at the same time. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and the porch was beautiful for coffee in the morning. The shower was hot and luxurious with clean towels. Our stay was truly incredible.

Place was beautiful location was AMAZING! Walked to town (restaurant) there are no words or pictures to describe the location ON THE RIVER! Open the windows and listening to the water flow was the best thing ever!!! We had a storm the whole stay so we just listened to the rain and relaxed with a beverage. Great place WILL FOR SURE BE BACK!!! Mike & Liz

Highly recommend for single traveler or possible couple. Studio style. This place was a super peaceful getaway. Great location. Clean amenities. About 10 minutes from main town. About 30 minutes from ski resort parking. Responsive and helpful host. Hot tub, pool, and gym opened late morning (I believe 10:00am) and closed at 7:00pm. Would be nice if the hours were wider, but other than that, everything was great. Thank you.

Beautiful comfortable home. Easy walking distance to downtown. Very responsive to needs. Would have been nice to have hand soap dispensers and a few extra towels. Overall excellent, highly recommend.

This management company is amazing. I have stayed with them before. They are always available for anything you would ever need. This condo is beautiful however the owner must have pets because the master bedroom Capet is very stained due to their pet which I did not expect. So if you are traveling with pets this is a great option however I was not and was shocked by all the stains in the carpets in the master. Other then that the condo was fabulous

We were in town for a soccer tournament and this was a perfect find for the family! The location was perfect with the pool/ hot tub amenity and a short walk to the lake. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back for sure!

This little treehouse haven was so wonderful!! It was the perfect size for our family of five and was so cozy and comfy. Very close to the ski hill and easy to get to town for dinner and shopping. We loved the use of the hot tub and sauna everyday after we skied. We will be back!!

My friends and I loved our stay at this Airbnb! It was exactly what we needed to spend our nights after visiting glacier national park for the day. The location was perfect, as it was so close to the entrance of the park. Great find!

Kelli was a great host!! The pool & hot tub were So great to use with family and friends. The unit was perfect size for our group of 3 adults and 1 child. Def recommend and would love to rent this same place for all of our future CDA visits! Listening to the golfers was pretty entertaining as well
