Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hollern-Twielenfleth

The place was exactly as described. It was all very spacious and very clean. We felt right at home. You could go for great walks with the dogs. All in all highly recommended. Very suitable for families with young children. You are right in the countryside and there is a pretty playhouse. Not to mention the bathtub.

We booked very short notice, then Holger contacted us immediately and was very quick on site when we arrived. Check-in was straightforward. We got all the important information about the area. We stayed in an apartment in the attic, which was well equipped and clean. However, access was only possible through the apartment in the basement, which is a bit peculiar. The area is very quiet (rural), as there are no restaurants or cafes nearby, you are dependent on self-catering. Since we were traveling by bike and had no food with us, the place was not so optimal for us. The nearest supermarkets are 5 km away. Fresh seasonal vegetables are available directly from Holger. Nice place for self-catering with small restrictions.

We were immediately welcome. Fresh flowers everywhere. Everything very individual, quality, cozy and comfortably furnished. The small kitchenette is fully equipped, everything you need. It is already something special to stay here, to enjoy nature on the Elbe, to walk. This is where you get down and you're in a different world. Nice contact with Klaus, who brought us fresh rolls. It's really worth it. And I'm sure we'll come back sometime. It can also be bad weather. Never mind. Listening to music, reading books, drifting.

It was a super uncomplicated communication. The house was the same as in the pictures and in a great condition with great furnishings and a super nice garden. The highlight is the hot tub. It was a real stroke of luck .

Wow. The cottage in the woods is awesome. Still quite inconspicuous from the outside, it is simply wonderful from the inside. Someone tastefully decorated it. We felt very comfortable. Everything works, everything is clean and everything is functional beyond all expectations. We especially liked the kitchen equipment with pots and real iron pans. Thank you.

Very charming apartment. Tasteful and very clean in a sweet neighborhood. We slept wonderfully, the beds and the tranquility were wonderful. We especially liked the small balcony.

Everything was as described and discussed beforehand. Yasmina responds quickly and is always helpful :) The connection to the city is more than good and the neighborhood is super nice and family-friendly. Shopping within walking distance and parking pass possible. It's been a great weekend!

Frauke was a very nice hostess. We were allowed to move freely with our son on their property. The place was very clean and spacious. We warmly recommend them.

During a hike, we spent one night at the property. We found them very thoughtfully prepared & felt very comfortable for the short stay. We lacked nothing. We'd love to come back!

We were only there one night and felt very comfortable. Nice farm with animals and play opportunities for the little ones. And especially very nice hosts!

There are many great things about this apartment: it’s spacious, clean and quiet. The location is excellent, with a bus stop, restaurants, and playgrounds nearby. A special thank you to Sybille for helping us carry our luggage upstairs and for setting up a lovely room with toys for our child. That said, I do feel a responsibility to mention the privacy issues related to the curtains. The living room has no curtain at all. The bathroom curtain barely covers the full window—we had to adjust it frequently to maintain privacy while using the shower or toilet. The thin curtain in the bedroom became see-through when lights were on at night. I also underestimated how much the bright morning light would affect my sleep. After I raised this with Sybille, she responded promptly and kindly clipped on a thicker curtain layer in the bedroom which made the remaining nights more comfortable. If the curtain situation is properly addressed, I would recommend this apartment without hesitation.

We stayed six days with our two girls in Mieke's apartment. The house is quietly located and you can go for a good walk from there. The children liked the garden and the animals very much. The apartment is well and conveniently equipped. From the "Mittlerer Landweg" stop (a few minutes by car; Park & Ride day ticket: €2) you can quickly get to the city and all kinds of Hamburg sights by S2. Overall, as a family, we enjoyed this mix of peace and action in the city very much.

This apartment was a real godsend for us! The furniture is a little older, but everything is well maintained and very clean. The bathroom is modernized and the view fantastically beautiful. The amenities are very extensive and there is really everything you need. We'd love to come back and look forward to a next vacation there. Thanks very much for the great holiday.

the check-in worked wonderfully without problems, the sauna fabulous as well as the pool. Quiet surroundings. Parking in front of the property wonderful, restaurant just around the corner not far into the city. felt super comfortable, we would definitely use it again and also recommend it.

Great apartment with pool and sauna and fireplace, we felt very comfortable and had a great Easter weekend. The pool could have been a little warmer and cleaner, dirt collected in the corners, the temperature was only 26° But all in all, it is a nice quiet successful oasis of relaxation that we would definitely recommend!

Peaceful location, you can really switch off . The apartment is well furnished, you have everything you need. Shopping nearby and if you don't feel like cooking also good restaurants nearby. The view is great. With children you can do a lot, climbing park , mudflat hike. Next time I'll come alone to unplug. Thank you dear Annette for a nice holiday village. I'll be back !

I booked the accommodation for a short break and was completely satisfied! The location is great, the other possibilities of the common areas (swimming pool, sauna, fitness) are simply great. Absolutely recommended, I'd love to come back and have nice memories!

It's a really nice place. The indoor pool has a greenhouse effect and is always very warm. In the mood of Germany, but in such a place, the holiday would be very meaningful.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. The apartment was very clean and had all you need. The balcony points to the parking lot at the balcony door and around the corner you then have a nice view of a paddock. The balcony door is equipped with a screen, so you can ventilate superbly in the evening. Opposite is a very nice forest where you can walk great and also great to walk to the beach with children. Right at the entrance to the beach you can rent a beach chair if you want. We also made the geocaching round Matschpfote is gone, which is great for kids. All in all we had a very nice stay and would be happy to come back.
