What a beautiful place to stay with a group of friends. Shara was fantastic with speedy responses to any of our questions, and always quick with any information. The house itself is - dare i say- perfect. Lots of space inside and out, huge table in the kitchen to sit around, fabulous, spacious bedrooms and even the annexe is perfect with 2 ensuite gorgeous bedrooms. It has lots of space to spread out. Whilst some of our party were enjoying relaxing in the garden or various living rooms, some were engaged in competitive table tennis games! The location is also worth a mention. 5 minute walk into the village which has a fabulous community pub. Opposite the house is a path down to the beach. Only a 10 minute drive into Dartmouth too. We couldnt have wished for more from the Lodge and Shara and altho i would like to keep it a secret, i cant- you have to go and experience this beautiful house and its surroundings

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay which is ideal for those who love nature. We came as two families of four with young children. The setting is stunning, the bluebells were out in all their glory in the magical woodlands where there was a sweet little natural play area suitable for little ones. There's plenty of wildlife and farm animals such as cows and horses. At night you can see the stars and listen to the birds and other animals which is so relaxing. Rooms and beds were comfortable. We visited the nearby donkey sanctuary and sidmouth beach which were both great. Lovehayne Farm is a great base with a huge living room and spacious dining area. There's also a courtyard garden with a BBQ. Very responsive and helpful hosts.

This place is an absolute dream. We booked it for a few days after our wedding and it was the perfect place to wind down: stunning views, well equipped kitchen for cooking, fun times in the hot tub. We walked to the local pub for a drink and dinner at the italian. I can't recommend it enough for a relaxing break. Abi and Jonny were very friendly and welcoming.

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Otterhead House! There were 10 of us in total, including kids, and the house was incredibly spacious and comfortable for everyone. The views from the property are stunning — a real highlight of the stay. The house was beautifully equipped with everything we needed, and the attention to detail was clear from the moment we arrived. George and Sarah are fantastic hosts — they left us a lovely welcome hamper with local produce and the best lemon drizzle cake we’ve ever had (which didn’t last long!). Their communication was excellent and very prompt, both before and during our stay. They even sent us a helpful video to guide us to the property and explain how to use the heating, hot tub, and sauna, which was a nice touch. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about the house or the hosts. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay, such a nice weekend. The house was just fantastic. Lots of things to keep everyone entertained. The pool table and dart board were great for the kids and the garden and the surrounding views were just beautiful. The house is so well equipped and Francis was on hand to help with any questions. We were a party of 10 plus two dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone.

WOW!!!!! We have just returned from an awesome time at the weekend spending 2 nights at Torvale Lodge, could have easily spent a week! We had lots of celebrations as a group of friends, 2 families of 4 and 2 couples. We arrived to music playing, great to have speakers outside too, house in immaculate condition, plenty of towels including for the hot tub. Lots of games, toys, books, activities for the whole family, hot tub, sauna, adventure golf, cinema room, pool table, basketball, darts, to name a few, the list goes on and on. Did not need to leave until check out and we didn’t want to! lots of information for places to visit if you did want to venture out of the lodge. The weather was good so also made use of sun loungers, a little sun trap! We lit the log burner one evening and toasted mash mallows, kids loved it! Great communication from hosts, Marc, great guy, popped in when we arrived to show us how some things worked, was always on hand if needed. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Tom and Janine were the perfect hosts for their beautiful thatched farmhouse set deep in the stunning Devon countryside. Nothing was too much trouble, and our children and grandchildren will remember the horse rides and trips into the field to feed Happy the Lamb forever! We booked the venue to celebrate our Pearl wedding and spend time with our family, something we rarely get the chance to do. We had the perfect week, one we will never forget, and we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend the rustic farmhouse, gardens, games room, and walks for anyone seeking a peaceful family holiday (it's also perfect for dogs!). Set 20 mins from Exeter, 15 mins from Crediton and with a railway connection 10 min away, it is ideally situated for exploring Devon. As someone who loves birds and likes an early start to each day, the dawn choruses were amazing! Thank you, Tom and Janine, for a truly magical time.

This property is perfect for staying in Paignton and exploring Torbay. The house was spotless, quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. There are lots of restaurants, pubs and 2 beaches very nearby. It's also dog friendly. Highly recommended!

Fantastic weekend with the family to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversay. The house had everything we needed and kept the children entertained. Cath was really lovely and even baked us a cake for our stay which was very thoughtful. The view from the property was a highlight and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful spacious property. A few minutes walk from the centre of Dartmouth. We arrived to some lovely processco, fresh fruit & cereal. Totally unexpected. Everyone had their own bathroom and a lovely large TV area on the first floor to relax. We also had 2 car park spaces so could park up and not worry about the cars for the rest of our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Great host. Thank you :-)

Loved this cosy house, in an absolutely spanking part of Salcombe. I've been coming here for best part of 35+ years and this location is second to none right in-between north and south sands (the brilliance of this cannot be underplayed). the ground floor is the perfect place for tweens to hang and the views from the garden are glorious even when the weather is bad! thank you too to Annie and her team for being perfect and responsive hosts - you were great! We'll be back ...

Such a lovely house and gardens. Situated on a road but you cant tell once you're in the back garden whxih is a sun trap with bith a fenced off grass area and a patio with settees. The house itself is really stylish and spacious with all cookware you might need plus amenities like washing up liquid and soap. The village location is beautiful with lots of walks straight from the door and a pub and shop within 2 mins walk. I would definitely reccomend a stay at Sarah's house.

Had a fabulous bank holiday weekend break in Brixham at Polly’s beautiful house. Well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to eat the house and Polly recommended some lovely spots to eat and drink. It’s in an excellent location for surrounding towns like Torquay and Totnes. Some nice secluded coves for swimming within 20 mins drive. Would thoroughly recommend, thanks Polly!

Great stay at Quay House. Plenty of space for everyone to be together. Bedrooms were great, it worked well with 3 generations staying together. Everywhere was clean Topsham is a great town. We didn’t use our cars during our stay. We got the train to Exeter one day then explored Topsham for the rest of our stay. Outdoor swimming pool in the town was a bonus.

Wonderful house centrally located in the beautiful church garden of St Margaret. Everything is centrally located, supermarket, good restaurants and traditional pubs. The village is very pretty and right on the waterfront. A car is not necessary. Hiking trails start right by the house and there are two ferry stations just a short distance away. The bus and the wonderful Avocet-line take you to all places in and around the Exe Estuary. The house itself is tastefully furnished in keeping with the listed building. Practical, but always true to style. We liked the large eat-in kitchen with gas oven and super equipment for cooking. All the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. John was always available and very helpful. If you have difficulty with steep stairs or are very tall, the house may not be suitable. Otherwise: full recommendation. We would love to come back. A must visit: A la Ronde, the estate of the Parminster cousins, managed by the National Trust.

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

We had a phenomenal time! The whole house was spotless and the kitchen was so well equipped. We cooked all meals at home and had lovely dinners outside. The garden is absolutely stunning and a dip in the pond was a great thing to do every morning. Thank you so much Ian, we hope to come back again!

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Highly recommend a stay here as you get a private house with the services of a 5* Hotel. Staff were VERY helpful, especially with my elderly parents.

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

Stayed at Sarah’s lovely home for my 37th birthday celebrations with my husband and our best friends. We had the most special time. The house, pool and location was so dreamy. Sarah was the most wonderful host and really took care of us. We can’t wait to come back. We spent time playing board games, talking to the cows and playing in the pool. Really was so special. Thanks so much for having us ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!
