We are 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from downtown so you will have all kinds of businesses close to the house such as restaurants, bars, convenience stores, etc. Holbox is a small island and all its streets are sandy so if it rains are likely to have puddles in the streets. The island is surrounded by mangroves so you could find some fauna, we recommend to take repellent.

Everything simple and practical, located near the ferry, and close to the center and the beach, you can get there by walking everywhere and you save yourself the cost of the taxi, it has the services of wifi, minibar, air conditioning, fan, cloakroom, TV with cable, hot water, towels, soap, sampoo, balcony with table and chairs, private bathroom. Excellent choice for couples.

Atenea Holbox is ideal for those tourists that enjoy being away from all the noise and be in a family type of setting. This is a very peaceful location, although, noise is inevitable. Lovely. Definitely off the beaten path but close enough to feel like there are things to walk to. I didn’t mind being further from town because I was having a bit of a retreat but it was definitely not in the swing of things. Close to a coffee shop and good restaurant. I’d definitely go back!

My girlfriends and I spent two nice nights at Yuri and Cynthia's place. I recommend it for a short stay in Holbox. Very friendly, responsive and welcoming host.

They are kind, attentive, friendly, empathetic, we had a tour at the time the room had to be vacated and they offered to leave our bags at the reception and at the end of the tour they let us bathe, (the bathroom is adapted for these circumstances). Once again, THANK YOU for your attention, support and recommendations.

Really cute rooms with several pools, highlight is definitely the roof top area with a pool and loungers and toilets, you can see the sunrise and sunset from the roof and it’s a special experience. Maria was always around and really knowledgable and helpful. A short walk to the main area in Holbox but still peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay at Miriam's house. It's just 5 minutes walk to DT area, and 10 minutes walk to the closest beach. The room looks as shown in the pictures and there is also a water server in the room, so you will never run out of drinking water! Miriam kindly picked up / dropped off us at the ferry terminal with her vehicle which were so helpful. Thank you so much!

Excellent home and location. I would have liked the back door to have mosquito nets to cool the house. Or the curtains. But everything else is very good. I would definitely come back.

Spent two weeks here, felt very at home here. Gina was extremely helpful and always around, the room was cleaned when requested by putting a sign out. The guy cleaning was always helpful and couldn’t do enough for you as well. The shared kitchen was well equipped with fresh water to fill up bottles all day and having a shelf in the large fridge meant you could store food safely. Loved the pool for a refreshing dip. The location is a 10 mins from town and all the great food options and the beach 2 mins. Will be back.

Johaness was an excellent host. Made check in & check out easy. Responded promptly when we had an issue and fixed it within hours. It's super close to the beach. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

The place is beautiful, the apartment is just like it looks in the pictures. ideal for peace seekers. Matthias is super attentive and kind. Magaly is in charge of welcoming you and resolving any concerns you have, she is always available, she is friendly and makes you feel at home. Her husband gives local recommendations and can prepare the meal you want, at an extra cost, but it's just delicious. Definitely want to come back!!!

Very nice house direct on the beach. Good equipment and a wonderful chilling surrounding. Rooms were clean. Contact were friendly. Recommended highly! We enjoyed our stay very much.
