Forget your worries – this spacious and quiet place to stay! This beautiful wooden holiday home with over 100 m² of living space and a large garden is absolutely quiet, at the end of a cul-de-sac in an idyllic location on the outskirts directly at the edge of the forest of Fågelfors. There is enough space here to unwind or let off steam for children. The house is located in the heart of Småland, and at the same time within easy reach of the Baltic Sea, an ideal starting point for numerous beautiful excursions. We have lovingly renovated the house ourselves in 2024 and use it privately for our vacations. Outside these times, we would like to offer it to our guests for relaxation. Plot: 827 m², living area 115 m², Location: Only 13km from town Högsby and 45km from Oskarshamn (Baltic Sea, ferry). The two bedrooms each have a double bed (180x200 cm). In the large living room area, there is also a pull-out sofa with a comfortable lying area (172x113 cm) for a fifth person. Linen and towels are not included, but can be booked as an optional package. The large and bright kitchen invites you to cook together comfortably. It is equipped with everything you need: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, stirrer and plenty of dishes, pots, pans and bowls. There are also various spices such as salt, pepper, vinegar and oil. Next to the kitchen is a cozy dining area. A pantry is also available. The house has a covered terrace behind the house and a second (uncovered) terrace on the front. So there are always plenty of opportunities to find sun or shade depending on your choice. In addition, a large living room area is available, which is divided by an open shelf. A large table, two sofas, a cozy armchair, two rocking chairs, TV with satellite TV (Swedish channels), a small stereo system, games and books for young and old invite you to linger. In the living room, there is also a new air-to-air heat pump, which quickly provides heat during the transitional period or on cool evenings - or can also be used as air conditioning on hot days. For the cooler season, there is also central heating with radiators in all rooms. The house has one bathroom with toilet and an additional guest toilet. A washing machine is available to you in the utility area. In the large parking in front of the house there is enough space for two cars. If necessary, two bicycles (organic bike, 3 or 5 gears) can be rented for a small fee (10 euros per bicycle per week), which could be used, for example, to cycle comfortably to the lake. Nearby supplies: In the village there is a nice little supermarket that is open daily. You can easily reach it on foot in about 5 minutes. There is also a bakery with a loving ambience and a delicious range of bread, pastries, cakes, pizza... (open 3 days a week). There are several lakes right around Fågelfors. The nearest swimming lake is the Övresjön. In addition to sandy beach, jetty and non-swimmer area, it also offers changing room, toilet and barbecue area (free access). This lake is only 5 min by car. And you can walk beautifully along the Anglersee Klobosjön. The forests around Fågelfors invite you for relaxing walks. In summer/autumn you can collect plenty of mushrooms, blueberries and cranberries. A beautiful forest path starts near the house. The nearby Emån River offers beautiful nature and opportunities for canoeing or fishing (e.g. salmon, sea trout). With the tourist fishing card you can fish within the municipality of Högsby in 29 different waters. Possible excursion destinations: - Vimmerby: the popular Astrid Lindgren World and Astrid Lindgren Museum (50 min drive), Nearby is also the Katthult farm (film: "Michel from Lönneberga") as well as the filming location of "The Children of Bullerbü" - Valen: large lake in Fagerhult (17 km) - Canoeing or fishing on the Emån river - Oskarshamn (45 km): port city, beautiful beaches, From there, there is a ferry to Öland, Gotland and, for example, the natural paradise of Blå Jungfrun Island - Kalmar (82 km): nearest airport, beautiful medieval town on the Baltic Sea with castle worth seeing and various museums. Via the Kalmar Sound you can reach the island of Öland with many sights, e.g. Soliden Castle (summer residence of the royal family) with a park open to the public, Borgholm Castle Ruins, beautiful beaches, windmills, .... - Moose parks in Mållila (27 km) , in Grönåsens (69 km) or in Nybro (74 km) - historic narrow gauge railway Hultsfred-Västervik. Also with the possibility to drive Draisine yourself. ... and much more... :-)

Lovely lake house with Hot Tub

Lovely newly built house 1 of (3) on the area with open spaces. The residence offers a terrace facing the lake with barbecue possibilities and sun deck. There is a soap stove in the house that can be burned in. Guests have access to their own jetty and rowboat, Ryds 390 There is also a hot electric heated hot tub available with 39 degrees all year round (Note: No bubbles only cleaning) Guests will bring their own linens and towels as well as charcoal and sparkling to the grill.
