Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Himarë

We had a wonderful time at this place. Everything was very familiar, warm and friendly people who gave us a warm welcome. They even brought us local specialties and we felt looked after at all times. We were allowed to eat fruit from the garden several times. A car is recommended to reach the place and also the beach and other places around.

Very beautiful peaceful environment and not overlooked. A very nice view of the sea and the city. Everything is very clean and a nice welcome from the host. A must-see for a romantic holiday.

Anna's place was a secluded paradise just outside of Himarë. It was tranquil and her mother was a delightful and welcoming host and the place was spotless, large, and comfortable on the inside. Do note that they painted the house a beautiful blue colour since the pictures on the listing were taken and there isn't a sign directly in front of the house indicating it as Villa Romeo - so we accidentally drove past it which we don't recommend! Anna was responsive when we messaged her during a medical emergency - her and her mother couldn't have been more hospitable and helpful during this time. Overall, we would recommend this home as a peaceful retreat - the expansive view from the multiple balconies was truly relaxing.

Great stay at Milo’s Cottage with beautiful surroundings and views. It surpassed our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the tranquillity was just what we needed. The location is great for visiting nearby villages such as Kassiopi and Old Perithia. There are plenty of nearby pickup points for excursions but we would recommend having a hire car. There is however no need to leave the cottage if you are looking for a solo or couples retreat. Victoria provides information for local restaurants and she has added some really welcoming touches to the accommodation.

It's a very great location. the kitchen has really everything you need. Really amazing to have a kitchen which is really suitable for cooking. Also the rest of the apartment is great. everything is very clean and feels comfortable. The location is easy to reach, also by car, parking is fine. It's not located in the main busy street, which we found very nice and relaxing.

We loved staying with Aleksandra. Aleksandra is super polite and nice and lives next to the accommodation with her lovely family. She was very attentive and always offered us her help. The accommodation is very cute and has a nice outdoor area for sitting and lingering. You can reach a small beach within 15-20 minutes on foot and also the city center of Himara is only 10 minutes by car. We would come back again ☺️

Gligor's house is perfectly located in the historic center of Gjirokaster. You can get everywhere on foot. Gligor is very friendly and is the only host we saw during our vacation in Albania. He speaks very good English too. We recommend.

We (me and a friend) spent the last weekend of MAY 2025 in this lovely apartment. The place is very nice and it was also very clean. To sum it all up: Everything is like in the pictures from the advertisement and Lorik and Leart were very helpful. We highly recommend a stay in this flat while visiting Saranda.

I had a wonderful stay in Srande! The location is absolutely perfect—right at the beginning of the Promenada, which made it so easy to enjoy walks, cafes, and the beautiful surroundings. The place was as described, great view, cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. A special thanks to the host, Khris, who was incredibly responsive and helpful—he replied to any questions within minutes! I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Leo’s apartment, with its open terrace and the incredible view of the bay and Corfu across the bay are a sight to behold. Would recommend to anyone thinking of spending time in Sarande.

Very nice location. You overlook the boulevard where there is plenty to do. Really a beautiful view from your balcony, beach is within walking distance. The only pity was that there was no elevator and that we had to go up and down 8 stairs every time. Good for the figure!

I've never received such a good welcome in an establishment. The owner has incredible human qualities. Flexible and available with travelers. Klodi’s apartment was perfect! Had everything we needed, and was at the perfect location to be near the center and enjoy the amazing view!😍 The price was a value for money. Hopefully we will be able to book it again next time we visit. Thanks for the hospitality

Villa Plaka is a jewel among Airbnbs. We had a wonderful few days in Afionas. The decor is exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything is tastefully furnished with a lot of love for detail. There was nothing missing. The many terraces with the breathtaking view - priceless. The seclusion & tranquility is a boon for body and mind. The communication went great, great excursion tips and restaurant recommendations included. We are absolutely thrilled! Absolutely recommended!!! ♥️

Truly the best place I have been to in all of Dhermi. Jonida’s space is spotless, beautiful, and sizeable. Looks just like the photos! The driveway is a plus and makes getting to and from places easy. My family and I had a great time here. We felt peaceful and fully relaxed. Beautiful views and sunsets! Would 100% revisit again.

Absolutely recommended. Everything's great. However, you need a car to get to restaurants or to go shopping. Top beaches within walking distance within a few minutes. Immediately again

Ermal's place is a sweet deal and an easy walk to the seaside promenade. The value is excellent and the apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Additionally, he and his parents are very kind, responsive. I fell sick when I was there, and they responded immediately, took me to the hospital and were very supportive. I am very grateful to them for that. When we are traveling in foreign countries and we fall sick, we feel very vulnerable. They are a lovely family.

This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location- close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Jora was quick to respond and to help us throughout our stay.
