Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Het Hogeland

Wat een heerlijk verblijf! Voor de tweede keer hebben we genoten van dit prachtige en sfeervolle huisje. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig – van een goed uitgeruste keuken tot comfortabele bedden waar je heerlijk op slaapt. Het huisje is keurig schoon en straalt echt warmte en gezelligheid uit. Gelegen in een charmant en gezellig straatje, voelt het meteen als thuiskomen. De host is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat het verblijf nog aangenamer maakt. Absoluut een aanrader – wij komen graag weer terug!

Und hat dir Unterkunft von Steffen sehr gut gefallen. Sie ist ruhig und verkehrsberuhigt gelegen, somit perfekt für Kinder. Wir konnten die Sauna sehr genießen. Positiv ist uns die Küchenaustattung aufgefallen. Die wesentlichen Gewürze etc. waren alle vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit Steffen lief reibungslos und er war jederzeit erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem traumhaften Haus! Es ist wirklich perfekt ausgestattet – alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden, und es ist super sauber und geräumig. Das Haus ist ein echter Rückzugsort zum Erholen, mit vielen tollen Extras wie dem Boot, dem Whirlpool und der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche. Die Lage ist einfach ideal und unsere Kinder haben sich dort sehr wohl gefühlt – sie sind sogar schnell eingeschlafen, was für den Komfort spricht. Insgesamt ein absoluter Traum, den wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Een schattig boshuisje midden in de natuur. Met mooi weer is het alleen maar genieten.

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang in einem schönen ruhigen friesischen Ort. Das Wohnen in einem gepflegten altfriesischen Haus, nahe am Wasser, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wer Erholung sucht, ist in Grou gut aufgehoben.

La casa si trova in un'ottima posizione, lungo la via che porta alla spiaggia e a pochi minuti a piedi dal paese e dai negozi; è luminosa e arredata con buon gusto; gli spazi interni sono molto ampi, noi vi abbiamo soggiornato in tre ma è adatta per più persone; letti comodi e buona pulizia; cucina molto grande e ben attrezzata; grande giardino curato; una casa piena di fascino e ben inserita nell'atmosfera dell'isola

We hebben het heerlijk gehad! Een fijn huis, van alle gemakken voorzien, een prachtige tuin en heel rustig. En een gezellige, 'aanlooppoes'. Aagje was prettig in het contact en had goede tips. We kregen zelfs nog plantjes mee uit haar mooie tuin! De locatie is zeer centraal, je kunt alle kanten op. Wij hebben gefietst, gewandeld, steden en musea bezocht, naar film en theater geweest. Dus veel natuur en cultuur en bovendien goed uitgerust!

Sehr geschmackvolle, bunte Wohnung zu wohlfühlen. Es fehlte an nichts. Allerdings hätten wir gerne eine Heizung im Bad und eine zweite Bettdecke gehabt. Die Lage ist toll. Mit dem Fahrrad erreicht man die Innenstadt in 10 Minuten. Das Wochenende war wunderschön!

Zeer welkom gevoel bij aankomst en heel gezellige huisjes. Goed ingericht voor een grote groep, in het bijzonder de keuken met heerlijk veel serviesgoed. Een heel fijn weekend gehad.

Roger was a perfect and very kind host. His project of an B&B in the old school is cosy and beautiful. We enjoyed the time in Wierum (it is reeeeeally a quite place)

Thomas & Marrit's house is really lovely-well thought out apartment. It's a 15 minute drive to Groningen and the surroundings and the house/garden itself are so nice. They were also friendly, flexible & helpful. As shared in the description, there is some noise from passing trains and cars, but you can watch it from the window, and my 3 year old loved that. I also enjoyed staying in the box wall bed, so unique. The kitchen is minimal, with just the essentials and no dishwasher, but it's perfect for a short stay. I would definitely come back to this house and better explore their garden along the water, the trampoline and the piano/stage area that is inside the property when you first walk in.

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

Warm onthaal, fijne locatie in het dorp en een heerlijk, comfortabel huis(je), dat van alle gemakken is voorzien! Ideale uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Friesland!

Mooie fijne ruimte met een leuk en werkend houtkacheltje. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf is aanwezig.

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt und zu dritt war es auch perfekt für die Größe. Wir haben die meiste Zeit auf der wunderbaren Dachterasse verbracht und die Sonne genossen. In Fussläufe gab es genügen Möglichkeiten um was zu essen oder einzukaufen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Een en al SUPERHOST ! We hebben hier een weekend lang de 50e verjaardag van mijn lieve vrouw, moeder en oma gevierd en hebben het heerlijk gehad in een echte villa XXL met hele mooie ruimtes, keukens, badkamers, een ruime tuin met vuurkorf, voetbaltafelspel, speelgoed enz. enz.. Alles was meer dan compleet incl. bedlinnen en handdoeken. Ook gebruik gemaakt van het muzieklokaal, de piano in de villa en met Sip de Djembé workshop gedaan. Daarna heerlijk Noord Afrikaans gegeten. We dachten eerst dat dit voor onze grote eters te weinig zou zijn maar er was zelfs nog over zo machtig was het. Ondanks Corona hebben wij ons daar geen moment verveeld. Op loopafstand kun je er heerlijk wandelen of fietsen. Wij raden dan ook iedereen aan om hier een of meer keren te boeken. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Bedankt Sip en Joke voor jullie gastvrijheid, tot de volgende keer en hou jullie haaks !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful house, which exceeded our expectations for the third time in a row! The property is perfectly equipped with everything one could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The large, immaculately maintained garden was a highlight of our stay, offering a peaceful retreat where we could relax and enjoy nature. After visiting for the third time, we can confidently say that we will definitely be returning again!

Great place. Even nicer than the pictures. The living room was very cosy and equipped with everything you want. We enjoyed the fire, the kids enjoyed the trampoline outside and the house overall is just very well done with all details thought of and with a high quality finish. The location is close to Hollum and the beach. We would stay again!

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

Top accommodatie. Voldoet volledig aan de wensen voor een prettig verblijf.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende in diesen Haus. Besonders gut hat uns die große Wohnküche mit dem Panoramablick aufs Wasser gefallen. Die Terrasse sowie die Sitzgelegenheiten unten am Wasser laden zum entspannen ein. Die Kommunikation war einfach und schnell. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Es war ein tolle Unterkunft und sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir werden wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.
