Fijne ruime kamer in een rustig dorpje aangrenzend aan Penzance. We konden zelfs de fietsen kwijt. Vriendelijke ontvangst na heel korte termijn booking. Goede uitvalsbasis, leuk ontbijtzaakje in de buurt en natuurlijk de Chip Shop tegenover het oude schoolgebouw.

A perfect Cornish getaway – peaceful, charming, and just what we needed! We had a truly lovely stay at Chy-Vean over the weekend of 18–21 April. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is cosy, well-equipped, and full of character – everything was exactly as described. The setting in Madron is peaceful and picturesque, a perfect base for exploring Penzance and the surrounding areas. Communication from the owners was clear and helpful, with easy check-in instructions and a warm welcome. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had all the little touches that make a stay feel special. We especially appreciated the quiet garden space – ideal for a morning coffee or winding down after a day of exploring Cornwall. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend Chy-Vean to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing escape in Cornwall. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
