Vacation rentals with lake access in Hawaii

A unique experience! We loved feeling like we were living in a private jungle – the plantings are stunning and offer a great sense of privacy even though the neighbors are actually nearby. You will hear the sounds of the island (frogs, chickens, music) but for us that was a plus. This location gave us great access to some places we hadn't explored on previous trips. Definitely take care with any food or crumbs left out in the kitchen, as the tiny ants arrive quickly : )

Awesome stay at Hale Hamakua! We had a large group of us come from Oahu, Maui, and Kona to celebrate a 30th birthday! Plenty of beds, spacious kitchen, and scenic lanai. Drive to Hilo takes a bit (around 30 min one way) but very worth it for the seclusion and view. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The unit was perfect for a group of 5 women celebrating a reunion. Close to sharks cove and cute town of Haleiwa. Walking distance to several beaches. One very beautiful secluded beach that has turtles. The pool near the unit was lovely and the patio space was private and peaceful. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. It was also amazing to have snorkel equipment, beach chairs & boogie boards. Living space with large sectional couch was the best.

Great location, lots of room well equipped kitchen but not new furnishing. Everything was more than adequate but not updated. Loved the massage chair though!

Beautiful location right in the heart of Princeville. Convenient to Hanalei and very safe and secure. Less than a mile from restaurants, grocery, etc. The condo had everything we needed to cook at the property for breakfast and lunch and a ton of room for three couples to spread out and relax. Plenty of fans that make the lack of air conditioning (typical for many Kauai residences) bearable day and night and plenty of windows to enjoy the amazing north shore breezes.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and well-appointed home! The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning tropical ocean view—we even spotted whales and dolphins right from the deck! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to a breathtaking black sand beach (clothing-optional), though swimming is best for strong swimmers. The home is comfortable and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. As expected in the tropics, the environment can be a bit tough on materials, but that’s just part of the charm of being in such a beautiful, natural setting. The host communicated really well and has done a great job keeping the space welcoming and well-equipped. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway immersed in nature, this is a fantastic spot. We would absolutely stay again!

Our family enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. There was just enough room for the seven of us. We especially loved spending time in the yard and jacuzzi. The house was in the perfect location for all of our pre-wedding activities.

This house was great for us, very comfortable. It's located really close to the big resorts so there are restaurants and shopping close by. The kitchen was well-equipped, and its SO nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer on a tropical vacation. The beds were comfortable, great back yard. WIFI was great. Communication with Alice was easy and fast. I would recommend this house!

Live Aloha in Kailua! I’ve been coming to Oahu for 15 years, this is by far my favorite space and place to stay in Hawaii. It is a quiet and safe neighborhood, everything you need for a day at the beach, and relaxing pool. Again, best place I’ve ever stayed at in Kailua. Close to beach and my favorite restaurants. The host is friendly and helpful with two wonderful doggies Zeus and Harvest, who I miss! This unit is affordable and gorgeous! Book it while you can! It is a gem! Pictures support experience and expectations. It is even more gorgeous than the photos. Have fun in the Sun. Aloha!

This was the perfect spot for a visit to Honolulu. We were mixing business and pleasure - a conference at the Hawaii Convention Center, as well as some touring around the island - and Elina's place was a wonderful launching point for both. It is a short walk from the convention center, but also conveniently located for Waikiki, Diamond Head, and other local attractions. The combination of kitchen and parking space was very helpful indeed. Elina's recommendations for restaurants and activities were right on. She also answered questions very quickly. All in all, a terrific place to stay.

Place was clean. View was great. Had some trouble with people parking in our designated parking spot but the property manager was very responsive. Would stay here again :)

This unit is in a great location for restaurants, shopping and morning runs. The condo was equipped with everything we needed including chairs, towels and a cooler for beach day. The beds were super comfortable too. There is also a great view of Mauna Kea when the clouds aren't completely engulfing the summit. I would definitely recommend Jenny's property to friends & family.

First time visiting the big island and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay ! Flew out here for my birthday and my oh my did I get lucky by finding this place. You can walk to the beach for a serene morning which is a plus (can also get fresh coconut juice and the best poke bowls by the beach). Or if you’re feeling more night like Ali drive is just less than a 10 min drive away ! Beyond the location the space itself is everything you could ask for and more ! On site laundry, air conditioning, and a coffee maker (my favorite part). A long with countless other essentials, definitely didn’t need to pack as much as I thought. Very thankful to Yoko for being such an amazing host, I will be returning ! (hopefully soon) 🖤

My family and I were very pleased with Nings place. We felt at home almost immediately. The directions were clear and made check in very easy and accessible. Parking was great and compared to other places it was easy to get in and out everyday. We were happy there was laundry so that before our trip ended we could wash our clothes. My kids loved the apartment so much. Ning definitely has a kid/family friendly place that made our stay even better. From board games for the kids, to TVs in every room + everything you need for the beach! It was just overall a 10/10 experience and Ning was fast at responding to any questions we had. The area was very safe, we slept so good in her comfortable beds and we didn’t hear any noise whatsoever outside. I love that she has everything you could possibly need for a vacation stay with your family.

Beautiful place and great host. The apartment was at a walking distance from everything (beach, restaurants, markets..) which makes it perfect if you don’t want to rent a car. I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Honolulu!
