The property was wonderful. It was clean and in a quiet location with amazing views.

We had such a wonderful time at David's home. Yvette was super friendly and helpful. She warmly greeted us upon our arrival and checked in us during our stay to make sure we were enjoying our time. David's home is so beautiful and comfortable. It has lots of great outdoor space for relaxing. His home is so elegantly decorated with many artifacts from the Pacific. The home is located in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful neighborhood in Pahoa. It is very close to Kahena Beach. This is by far the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It truly was a spectacular stay. We were sad to leave it and are already planning our next trip back. Mahalo for everything!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. Right from check-in to check-out, everything was a smooth process. This place was very well equipped with almost everything that we needed - Kitchen cutlery, hot plate,games, books and even a hot tub. Definitely recommend this place!

We loved our stay in Kukuihaele. The proximity to both Honokaa and Waimea was so convenient. Loved the local restaurants that were recommended by the host and found a few gems of our own. The local fruit stands were a great place to stop on our way back to the house after a day of adventure. We walked to the Waipio Valley Lookout from the house and enjoyed a scenic drive to Hilo for the Sunday Farmers Market, while stopping at some waterfalls along the way. Avocados from the tree on site were large and delicious. We did experience some evening noise from the neighbors’ dogs barking our first few nights, which was unfortunate, but that resolved by the middle of our stay. The sounds of the birds and frogs singing and the cattle lowing were a welcome reminder of the nature that surrounded us. Not to mention the ocean view was fantastic! Overall we loved our time here, falling in love with the area and the old Hawaii feel of it. Thanks!

What a nice to stay to be close to both Maunakea and Volcano. Very convenient if you want to tour these places at a very reasonable price. Serine place with frog and bird sounds to fall asleep.

Just a magical place. Loved the views of the lava flows, a great view of the ocean in the distance and just a peaceful neighborhood. Jade was absolutely fantastic in communication and we appreciated her local recommendations. If we’re ever fortunate enough to return to the big island, we would for sure stay here again.

My wife and I spent four nights in the penthouse unit of Jenn and Kristian’s beautiful home. We loved our time there. The unit was in good condition and comfortably furnished and the private rooftop terrace was perfect for early morning stargazing.

Nathan's home is nice and spacious, and very comfortable. Close the airport and Kona and things to do. The backyard and patio was a little slice of heaven. Nathan was super flexible when our flight got cancelled, and went out of his way to work with us! Mahalo!

Jon's place was a short drive from our night Manta ray snorkeling with Fair wind. The stay was quiet, clean and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of traveling and sightseeing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This location was perfect for our stay. It felt like staying in a rainforest. The backyard with fruits was beautiful. Highly recommend, also for the price is totally worth it.

Beautiful stream and waterfall really make the place, though the path can be a bit treacherous. Located a 10 minute walk to amazing lookout to Waipio valley. The nearest town, Honokaa, also has a charming Main Street with a number of local shops.

Wow and wow! Joyce and Zac have gone above and beyond to create a space that is comfortable and private. While the accommodations are indeed attached to their home, the retreat presents like a private apartment. The kitchen is well-stocked, making it easy to cook in for meals, if desired. Nothing has been forgotten concerning the little touches that make traveling easier, so we would consider this rental much better than a hotel. There is no air-conditioning, but numerous fans are provided and we were comfortable during our June stay. The online pictures very accurately depict what you'll see when you arrive. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We whole-heartedly recommend this rental and plan to return on our next trip to Kona.

Jeannie and her place were absolutely amazing. By far the best Airbnb experience I've ever had. We came in super late because we opted to head straight towards Kīlauea to try and see it erupting, and she was super accommodating with leaving everything up and on for us to easily get in late at night. There were tons of fruit trees she offered to let us pick from, the room had literally everything we could need. From a fridge, microwave, wine opener, utensils, all of the beach items you could need - chairs, TOWELS (huge plus), boogie boards, flashlights, legit everything. The bathroom was even stocked up with soap, hair products, sprays, lotions. I cannot rave enough on how at-home and comfortable we felt here. The place was spotless, the decked out patio was a huge plus. I would highly highly recommend and we will definitely be back for our next big island visit! James was a very responsive host. The location was great and the view of the ocean was amazing once you walked out to the pool and “beach” area.

Amy's place was just the perfect condo for us. It had a great unobstructed view the ocean. and the sounds of the ocean along with the evening breeze wafting through the unit at night was heavenly. Having breakfast on the lanai was a treat each morning of our stay. Very private end unit on the second floor assured privacy with no one being able to look in or walk by. Quiet and away from the bustle of the tourist district. (except for one noisy Coqui frog in the bushes nearby). I chased it away enough to get it to stop for the evenings. A nearby market and Ali'i Gardens Marketplace with cool friendly people (plus great fish tacos!) is just a short walk away. Amy was attentive and provided good tips for our visit which was a great help. Will definitely visit again!

place was beautiful! spacious and very well kept. location was great just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the strip down the road. host was responsive and helpful!

We read reviews about bugs and a bad smell, however we had no issues with either. Place felt very clean and smelled great, has all the amenities and appliances that we needed. Even had a boogie board in the closet that we could use which was fun! Overall great place, right by tons of restaurants and stores as well as the shoreline.
