The Cottage on the Green

The Cottage is situated on the backside of an acre parcel behind the main house. A swimming pool separates the main house from the cottage. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private. Guest have a Separate entrance. We are a retired lieutenant from a California LE agency and his wife a retired teacher who give guests as much privacy as requested. We are a short distance from the Longleaf Trace and 1.5 miles from the Barn at Bridlewood wedding venue for those attending a wedding there.

From the pond where you can fish off the pier, to sitting around the firepit to the cozy inside you can't go wrong with this place. Great front porch with rocking chairs where you can sit and admire the beautiful scenery or sit on the screened in porch and play games with the family. For the active people there are cornhole boards and a volleyball net. Or just relax in the hammock swing chairs. Something for everyone!

It’s location is perfect for traveling nurses or medical professionals, only 7/10ths of a mile from FGHospital. There are hardwood floors throughout the house. This house has an open concept for easy socializing, however we do not allow unregistered guests or parties! The kitchen has a Kerrig, tea pot and all the necessities for cooking.

This special place is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit. It has lots of charm and amenities. With three bedrooms and two full baths, it has plenty of room all of your needs. A beautiful sunroom on the front and deck on the back gives multiple places to relax or entertain. Walking distance to restaurants, the zoo and water park! Minutes to downtown fun and the all the sports events at the University of Southern Mississippi.
