Blackthorn is a luxurious retreat for two. Attached to the owner's home, and situated on the edge of Icklesham village, the property lies halfway between the ancient towns of Rye and Hastings. There is a distant view of the sea, and the garden is surrounded by beautiful AONB countryside. The cottage has a private, south facing verandah, and guests are welcome to use the heated, indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub throughout their stay but exclusively between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm.

A beautiful, quirky little Grade II Listed medieval house in Old Town Hastings on a picturesque road, a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and just next to Foyle's War location.. Home of Mark Eason and filled with examples of his art (including oil paintings of fish caught by local fishermen, which he paints in the summerhouse at the end of the garden). Two double bedrooms with double beds; there is wifi but no telly, just a cosy place to stay. The address is 11 Croft Road (not 9 - 11).

Beautifully located on the edge of Hastings county park 5 minute walk from the east hill & 10 mins walk to the old town. Wood burning stove & original early 1800s cottage features including a spacious kitchen extension. Nice views from both cosy bedrooms & plenty of natural light throughout. Cute & friendly kitten (short haired) comes with the house too - will leave food. (Please don’t book if it’s a problem!) Very quiet road with lovely neighbors & a village feel yet a walk to the beach.
