Mountain cabin by the lake

Welcome to our cottage with its own headland by Lofssjön centrally in Lofsdalen. The cabin has an older timber-framed part and a newly-built part. The cottage is idyllic with its location by the lake and view of the mountain and not least the wooden roof of half logs that gives the feeling of a Viking roof. Indoors, there is everything you need in a modern cottage. The newly built part was built in 2021 with a new kitchen, bathroom, sauna, hall and loft, the older preserved part has two bedrooms and a living room. In summer, you can borrow our rowboat in the lake.

Here you live about 75 meters from the nearest lift and downhill. For cross-country skiing, it is walking distance to the trail that takes you to the start of the Burusjö trail and further to Idre mountain's 84 km well-prepared trails. There are 30 km of illuminated trails for training day and night. Here, a feeling is created that it is wonderful to live! You are welcome to book all year round!

Close to hiking trails and cross-country trails. In winter, you can get to and from the ski system via the marked ski trail. For those interested in fishing, it is close to lakes and streams. Exclusive cottage beautifully located with Ski in/out to Idre Fjäll. With proximity to ski slopes, beautiful hiking trails, trail tracks, fishing and Idre Fjäll's mountain bike trails. Large terrace & barbecue area with wonderful sun exposure all day. The cottage has a secluded location with the mountains right outside the door. With 120 square meters divided into 5 bedrooms and 10 beds, there is room for both smaller and larger groups. A large welcoming hall, a really large living room with a very well-equipped kitchen. Our little cottage is located on Särnaheden between Idre and Särna. There is something for everyone in the surrounding area as it is a 25-minute drive to Idre Fjäll and Fjätervålen for skiing in winter and cycling in summer. Comfortable distances to Grövelsjön and Nipfjället for fishing, hiking and fantastic nature. Gördalen for snow and snowmobile experiences, Fulufjället for hiking, nature and fishing. The cottage is therefore in an excellent location if you want to explore nature. Cleaning is done by the guest.

Suitable for a family of 4, bunk beds in open plan, small kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher and all the equipment needed. Newly built wood-fired sauna with shower, new kitchen for winter 2023/24. Well-equipped kitchen in rustic mountain style with dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction stovetop and wine cooler.
