This place was a beautiful place that my wife and I enjoyed staying at while visiting Guanajuato. The place is in a corner of a glorieta (round about) so there is traffic. This didn’t bother us. The place is clean and modern. I highly recommend this place. The host was superb!

This is probably as authentic an experience as you can get in the city. You’re very close to the action but high enough where it’s quiet. Milton is very courteous and helpful, a trustworthy guy. The climb up the steps to this place is a challenge at first but you get used to it, just make sure you follow the directions precisely so you can navigate the alleys. I loved this spot as my introduction to Guanajuato.

After 14 years of renting AirBnBs-- and many months of that in Mexico-- I have to nominate Coco, the hostess at this place, as the most accommodating and welcoming I've ever experienced. She not only met me at the apartment and showed me around, she got me in her car and gave me a tour of Guanajuato! She continually kept in touch and wanted to supply anything I needed. Her advice on where to go in town was spot-on. Thanks Coco. As for the apartment, it was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and has a great view! The shower is great (not a given in Mexico) and has TWO water heaters, a solar and an electric backup. The brick ceiling is amazing (how'd they do that?). Keep in mind, this place is a good uphill walk from town. I did it for the exercise, but after dinner, or in the middle-of-the day heat, I often got a taxi (which was usually only 60 or 70 pesos) up the hill. This place is much quieter than the rowdiness in town, but it is also a bit of a hike.

Excelente lugar para una persona, con lo mínimo necesario para una estancia de varios días. La localización es perfecta, pues en mi caso quedaba cerca de la Universidad y también de caminando o en bus podías llegar al centro muy rápido. Además está cerca de OXXO, Aurrerá, bancos y lugares para salir a correr en las tardes. La atención de Paulina fue impecable, siempre atenta a cualquier necesidad que tuviera y dispuesta a ayudar . Son dudas consideraría este lugar para volver a alojarme en el por motivos de estudios.

Despite what people might say about the neighborhood it’s actually quite safe at night (I’m from Chicago I could be biased) and totally walkable even if it’s like 10PM. It’s a little far from the touristy blocks so you’d have to be prepared for walking up and down. Gabriel is extremely easygoing and passionate about his job. Although I don’t speak Spanish, communication was not difficult at all.

La ubicación es inmejorable: en pleno centro histórico, a pasos del Teatro Juárez, el Jardín de la Unión y muchas cafeterías, restaurantes y museos. A pesar de estar en una zona tan viva, el interior del alojamiento es tranquilo y cómodo. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio, bien equipado y decorado con muy buen gusto, conservando el encanto colonial típico de Guanajuato. La cama fue muy cómoda y el wifi funcionó sin problemas durante toda la estancia. El anfitrión fue muy amable, siempre atento y con excelentes recomendaciones sobre lugares para visitar y comer. La comunicación fue clara y rápida desde el principio. Sin duda, me volvería a hospedar aquí en mi próxima visita. ¡Altamente recomendado para quienes quieran vivir la verdadera esencia de Guanajuato !

This place is lovely, clean and super safe. There is a tap with DRINKING water in the apartment too, and once you see how hilly this town is, you will understand how valuable and convenient that really is. There is a restaurant two doors down and a market in the plaza two blocks away. The historic district and all the fun is only another couple blocks. The water in the shower is HOT and the WIFI works great. Robert is very communicative and super helpful. Maybe bring your best walking shoes for all the hills and some earplugs to sleep though...because there are traditional Mariachi bands seven days a week here. Guanajuato likes to party! You will LOVE this place. Would vote six stars if I could.

The view is wonderful!! It is high on a hill so quite a hike up every night after walking the centro or you could get a taxi I suppose. It’s very quiet!! We slept well every night. Lots of amenities. Pool, gym, etc. we did not make time to use. And a parking spot. Very spacious property, beautiful villa. Just like the pictures. Ken was great and Jose showed us around town when we came in late and hungry as well as showing us the road to get us out of town when Google sent us to a stairway drop off not for cars. Great place. Would stay again!!
