House vacation rentals in Guanajuato

It's a cozy and nice place to stay if you want to be close to downtown. It is located in a very quiet and safe area, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Guanajuato. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Casa Serena for almost 2 months. The house is charming and had everything we needed to feel at home and be self-reliant. The beds were so comfortable and the linens and towels were top-notch. Have a filtered water spout in the kitchen was a huge plus as it was great not to have to purchase and lug drinking water! The house is within easy downhill walking distance to the historic district with its lovely parks, museums, shops and restaurants. As is the case in many Guanajuato neighborhoods, the house sits on a hillside and so your walk back up from town is quite a workout! Still, that did not pose a problem for us. Alvaro was a perfect host. He was very responsive to any questions that came up and showed genuine concerns for our comfort and experience in his hometown. The welcome packet provided great recommendations for excursions and restaurants to try. Thank you too, Alvaro for the lovely sparkling wine you presented us with when we arrived. Thank you, Alvaro!

The apartment/condo is in a prime location. It takes about a minute to walk into the heart of the action Guanajuato. Pictures of the place are accurate. Excellent host. My aunt lost her phone and he set up a way for her to come back and get it. A minor inconvenience was the hot water. I followed instructions provided by host and I could not get any. The house sits on a hill. My wife and I enjoyed it cause of the walkability. Someone older might struggle, but the taxis know the location of the house so they’re able to drop you off. The taxi is not expensive. I never paid more than 100 pesos. Otherwise, I’d recommend the house if you’re going to the city.

I had a great stay! The location is excellent, and the house is spacious—perfect for relaxing or spending time with a group. The rooftop patio is absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight. The only thing I would have appreciated is if drinking water had been provided. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Casa Siete was amazing! House is beautiful and spacious. Location is good; we walked to restaurants and shops. Rocio always responded quickly to our messages and was very attentive. We hope to be back!

Alex's Airbnb was a fantastic and spacious location, perfect for our group of 5 adults. The property was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. We rented all 3 apartments, which offered stunning views, especially at sunset. The beautiful orange tree by the pool added to the charm, and there was plenty of clean drinking water available. Coffee was provided, and the city views were incredible. The location was very convenient, and Alex was an outstanding host, providing clear communication and ensuring everything was well-organized.

The house was absolutely amazing! Great views, we all had our own bathroom which is always great when traveling with a big group. Only trouble we really ran into was accessing the home, I think the lock was malfunctioning but the host got us in. The pool was a great the kids really enjoyed it, it is in the deeper side so make sure to take flooties. The neighborhood was quiet and it being gated makes you feel really safe. You could practically walk downtown but it is a lot of up hill and down hill so we used uber/taxi to get around which ended up paying 60-80 pesos each time. Also a lot of van transports pass by so easily you can hop on those as well. If I ever get the chance to visit GTO I would book here again.

It’s within walking distance to the city center of Guanajuato, which is very convenient. The night view from the balcony is also beautiful. The neighborhood has a security gate and is well-guarded, making it very safe.

A beautiful home with incredible views of one of the world’s most beautiful cities. We loved our stay. The local host Fernando was incredibly helpful and kind, and immediately responsive. As communicated in the listing, there are many steep stairs in all directions from the home. This home would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility concerns. For anyone with willing and able to climb steps at high altitude, this is a lovely option so enjoy fantastic views.

I had an amazing time, a super quiet area which I appreciate because my girlfriend wanted to rest, it is very easy to get there, Rebeca was ready for our arrival, you can walk to the pipila, it is not far and go down on foot or by cable car, or we took our car and parked in the panoramic viewpoint, the street that leads to the pipila is very safe to leave the car. We also had parking in the place, which is much appreciated in Guanajuato. The amenities exceeded our expectations, they provided us with everything we needed to cook, I was even able to prepare some pancakes for breakfast, it has everything, the bed is super comfortable and the tub is amazing, super large bathroom, I would go back without thinking, thanks for everything

This is the only Airbnb you need in Guanajuato. It has three floors, and from the 2nd and 3rd floor patio you have a view of the whole city. I took some really pretty photos from the 3rd floor patio. Any time of the day you can pour yourself a drink and chill out there. The rooms are spacious. The apartment is only 5mins walk away from the city center. The hosts are super responsive and very friendly

A good place near the city center, if you attend events at the General Auditorium of the University of Guanajuato, it is an excellent option. Consider that in Guanajuato there are slopes, stairs and alleys everywhere. Vianney is an excellent host, she frequently kept in touch to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything.

The apartment is amazing, very comfortable and very pretty. Marcelo was always very attentive and attentive to our needs and about clarifying any questions or problems about the place and even to give us tips on places and activities to do. I would definitely stay here again next time

Great place to stay, very walkable to everything! we ordered the cheese and meat board for when we arrived and it was awesome! Highly recommend.

The room is super nice, full of flora and the place is very pleasant. Excellent cleanliness and you sleep peacefully, the house is very spacious to feel comfortable and at ease. We arrived with a 3-year-old and it was excellent for them too, thanks to the crib and high chair that is in the room, the water pressure was excellent and the bathrooms were spacious, as well as the rooms and beds. The service and treatment from the host was incredible, always attentive to all our needs and very kind, 100% recommended place. Thank you very much for everything ☺️

What can I say - it was pretty much the perfect place for our 2.5 month stay in Guanajuato for a family of three. Beautifully designed and decorated inside and out, everything we needed for cooking and living, cozy and comfortable, a great view, and a short walking distance to the centro. Ana is a wonderful host who took us out on arrival to show us all the necessities it would have taken us days (or weeks) to find on our own, plus she has an extensive list of places to eat and explore in Gto. The three friendly dogs and a sweet cat are a bonus also! The only downside - none of the accommodations during the remainder of our travels in Mexico are going to measure up to Casa Ajolote!
