Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Groningen

The front house that Jan rents out through Airbnb is beautiful. Communication was smooth and pleasant. Jan is very flexible. Unfortunately, we were there for a less pleasant reason, but will hopefully return one day to enjoy some more of the beautiful and quiet area. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The residential area is super nice and very quiet. Right outside the front door is a beautiful small beach and a jetty with access to the water. It is a bit away from Groningen, but easily accessible by car via Park + Ride, bus. The house was mostly clean. I can recommend staying here for a few days :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Lea’s place. It’s a spacious, cozy home with everything you need present. The kitchen was well equipped and there are books and games, and not to miss the great garden. The only thing we didn’t like was the curtains that let all light through - but after giving this as feedback Lea immediately thanked me for the tip and told me she will change it. Great host! Would recommend booking :)

It's an idyll. The sound of the wings of geese in the sky. Ducks that skim low over the lake. The cottage is very well equipped, from a dishwasher, oven to various terraces. Highly recommended. Especially on a beautiful day. Thank you Joost and Adriaan, we'd love to come back.

Beautiful and quiet place. The cats are also very friendly and easy going. The view over the water is amazing and the house feels cozy and cozy. Definitely recommended.

We loved the semi rural setting that was a safe 15 minute bike ride to the beautiful and bustling city centre. Our family visited us (total of 6 people in the house) during our stay, and there was plenty of space. 100% recommended.

We took a girls weekend trip and the place was perfect for us! The garden was great and due to the proximity to downtown, a lunch break in the house was also easily doable:)... The house was more than well-equipped! Thank you! We will be happy to come back:)

What a great place to stay for a few days in this region! Ina's place was very comfortable and had plenty of room along with your own private waterfront seating area. The kitchen was stocked full of goodies for your stay and the bathroom shower (and spa bath) was very luxurious. Ina was a great host and provided the GPS coordinates to reach her property, as it is not shown accurately on the driving maps. Definitely worth a four or five night stay.

Warm welcome, nice location in the village and a lovely, comfortable house(you), which is equipped with all comforts! Ideal base for visiting Friesland!

We had a super great short stay and at the same time were able to enjoy the tranquility on the lovingly nature-loving and sustainable farm. Great outdoor kitchen, lovely people and super service. I would come back anytime. The attention to detail and the artistic influences complete the farm perfectly. Thanks for that :)

When my mistake over the booking dates was revealed, Jeroen responded quickly to my messages; he was always very friendly and accommodating.

Gezina was a very nice and welcoming host. We really enjoy our stay and definitely recommend this lovely place. Everything we needed were there to appreciate the wonderful environment Our children had lot of fun with all the different activities available in the camp and even our dog met a new friend :) Thanks a lot Gezina and see you.

Johanna was very responsive and offered to pick my partner and I up from the nearby town. On the day of our checkout she drove us to the nearby village for easier access to public transport, very kind and friendly woman!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed. We stayed in a lovely old caravan from 1949 with special carvings and engraved windows. There was a good wood-burning stove and ample wood to burn. When the sun was shining, the car automatically got nice and warm. We enjoyed the garden, the birds and the natural surroundings. Aagje was a very friendly host.

we were brought the last bit over the sandy path because our car was not suitable for that (it had rained a lot), because of this it immediately felt like we were really gone. The area is beautiful, lots of peace and space and opportunities to go into nature. The cottage was a cozy place to return after an autumn walk with a fireplace and candles on. The kitchen is very complete also with herbs/oil/tea/utensils and nice crockery. We loved our stay!

We enjoyed Kirsten's cottage. We had booked the cottage for our Honeymoon, and it is really a romantic place. It is wonderfully quiet, you can enjoy the birds and sounds of the forest. The house is full of comforts and nicely decorated. The conservatory was very cozy, with the fireplace, really a nice place. We made good use of the spa: sauna, outdoor shower and hot tub. Floating and drinking in the hot tub was a favorite. And the bed slept really wonderfully, which is nice! Norg is in a beautiful area. Easily accessible with the bicycles that you can use at the cottage. The contact with Kirsten went very well, she responds immediately when you have a question. She had arranged a sweet welcome package for us. We enjoyed it and would love to come back.

It was a very nice stay in a very nice, quiet and green place, with a very nice host and hostess. They made sure we didn't miss anything, and that we felt right at home. Definitely recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay. A nice house. The kitchen full of comforts and good equipment. Especially a nice sharp cutting knife which is almost always missing was here ! Nice terrace (we did have beautiful weather which helped) and a nice area for walking and cycling. There was no TV, but we didn't miss it for a moment. In short, a wonderful place!
