Waterfront vacation rentals in Groningen

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

It was a nice apartment, and a super nice helpful lovable couple, they always gave tips for excursion destinations. We will be happy to come back.

Had a wonderful stay here! The beds are fantastic and the staff of Waddengenot is very kind. Nice to go to the seal center Pieterburen and walk to the mudflats. We were just sorry that no crockery and cutlery were present. We had counted on this as it is advertised as an apartment.

Pleasant place that has more and more to offer, they work hard to add (children's) activities on or with starting from the site. Great plans! We will definitely come back, perhaps in 1 of the glamping tents.

What a lovely place to sit with children! Really everything is available, they had a great time inside, felt completely at home. And also enough to do with them nearby. Myrna and Ton are very friendly and flexible. Thank you for everything!

Greeted by our friendly host who showed us round the bright, quirky basement apartment. Living area furnished with a variety of up cycled furniture, opening out to a beautiful walled garden. A basic kitchen space, modern bathroom with a fabulous walk in shower and a cosy bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Loved it!

Beautiful and fully equipped house with garden on the water in a quiet new residential area just outside Groningen. Living room with kitchen and beautiful cooking island. 3 bedrooms and bathroom with bath. Several outdoor seating areas with, among other things, beautiful views of the Woldmeer and a Jacuzzi. Lots of privacy. Especially nice hostess and host, who are flexible and respond quickly. Our grandchildren had a great time with the two cats that live there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The residential area is super nice and very quiet. Right outside the front door is a beautiful small beach and a jetty with access to the water. It is a bit away from Groningen, but easily accessible by car via Park + Ride, bus. The house was mostly clean. I can recommend staying here for a few days :)

The house was exactly as in the description and easy to find. The communication was fast and easy :) Everything is really nearby and the recommendations were great. Also everything was prepared for our small child which really helped us to have a comfortable stay and we could enjoy ourselves. Thanks again for the lovely gift we received for her birthday. ❤️ I’d definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lea’s place. It’s a spacious, cozy home with everything you need present. The kitchen was well equipped and there are books and games, and not to miss the great garden. The only thing we didn’t like was the curtains that let all light through - but after giving this as feedback Lea immediately thanked me for the tip and told me she will change it. Great host! Would recommend booking :)

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

It's an idyll. The sound of the wings of geese in the sky. Ducks that skim low over the lake. The cottage is very well equipped, from a dishwasher, oven to various terraces. Highly recommended. Especially on a beautiful day. Thank you Joost and Adriaan, we'd love to come back.

We had a great weekend in the house. It’s very spacious and super comfy. Also great that we could use the bikes as the area is perfect for cycling. Communication was super friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend!

We spent a month here bridging between two homes. We had a very good stay here in a beautiful place. Surrounded by the beautiful nature and the many animals. Our cats were also allowed to join us, which was very nice. An oasis of peace that we can definitely recommend.
