The house is close to the Noorderplantsoen. You'll love the place because of the surroundings and the base to the city center with many restaurants and stores. The place is suitable for couples, solo and business travelers. A 30-minute walk from the cozy city center of Groningen. A 10-minute walk from the Zernike University Complex, the B&B is easily accessible by car. Also perfectly located for the Pieterpad walkers. Free parking. Provided with a good and healthy breakfast.

The painted House, bed & breakfast

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Breakfast and/or eveningmeals are an extra option, but cost are not included. Groningen is a 15km bikeride. At 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

Shortstay only The new nature-inclusive neighborhood Engelse Park is located in the backyard of the Sterrebos. Peace and greenery in the city. Max 10 minutes walk from Europapark station and 20 minutes walk from central station. Bus stop and shops/supermarket within a 5-minute walk. The spacious single room (approx. 20 m2) has a coffee maker and kettle. Suitable for short stays. The bathroom and toilet are shared with the residents Siska and Christian.

A nice, cozy little house on the edge of the old center. Fully furnished, comfortable and fully equipped. Can be booked for a short or longer stay. On the first day, a partly organic, self-service breakfast will be ready for you. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23.

Great sunset, best sleep of hidden space (Jeeva)

The Jeeva is a 8m2 German army unit, used for military training and named after the first guest: Eva (journalist and Russia correspondent, hence the name), converted into a double chalet. Despite its spartan image, it is one of the most comfortable accommodations at De Helleborus. It has a double bed, a small table and a bench for both. Jeeva is decorated with old Dutch designs. A nice detail is the handmade table with mosaic of old crockery.
