The area At the Paterswoldsemeer, fifteen minutes from the inner city of Groningen, our splendid holiday hous is situated. It houses six people in three bedrooms with double beds. After you parked your car, you walk the 800 meter footpath. At the end there's an oasis of tranquility. You hear birds and are 'off the world'. During spring and summer you can enjoy the lake with the canoo, hire a boat and make a daily swim. In the surroundings there are all kinds of parks to hike very close by.

Hier vind je de rust en ruimte waar je naar op zoek bent. Mogelijkheden genoeg om mooie dorpjes te verkennen en of de stad Groningen. Op een kleine 17 minuten ben je al in de stad en binnen enkele minuten in het mooie brinkdorp Zuidlaren. Prachtige winkels maar uiteraard ook genoeg etablissementen.

The bustling city of Groningen can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car or train! The house is the perfect base for exploring the area in any season, but at the house and in the spacious garden it is wonderfully relaxing!

Chalet Waterwijck is in the middle of the countryside near the Zuidlaardermeer. With 2 bedrooms, an extra sofa bed, bathroom and separate toilet, this is the ideal place for 4–6 guests. Enjoy the spacious veranda and the cozy kitchen. Discover nature and the beach by the lake, cycle the Rondje Zuidlaardermeer with the ferry or spot otters in the Onlanden. For culture and terraces, you can be in bustling Groningen or charming Zuidlaren in no time.

Unfortunately, our apartments are temporarily closed until spring/summer 2026 for a major renovation. They will be modernized, even more luxurious, wheelchair-friendly where possible and as energy-neutral as possible, with improved insulation, sustainable heating systems and modern facilities for lower energy consumption. This delightful energy-neutral water villa suitable for 4 till 8 persons, was recently built and located on its own plot with lots of privacy on a peninsula on the Paterswoldsemeer in Haren. The house has a lot of luxury and comfort such as two bathrooms, a large kitchen with built-in appliances, a big dining and livingroom and a beautiful view at the Lake. At the deck terrace you can enjoy the sunsetwith a glass of wine in your hand.

The Horse Farm, located on the Pieterpad

Are you looking for a rural place to stay ? The Horse Farm offers you an unique stay. Nearby, you can enjoy hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing. Also the heart of the city of Groningen is only a 20-minute bike ride away. The Horse Farm is 21 km from Pieterburen. Adjacent to the Reitdiep, near nature reserve "Lauwersoog" and you can ride a horse or pony with us. In short: a wonderful place to stay for one or more days!

Moderne voorzieningen, incl wasmachine en droger. Een eigen afgesloten parkeerplaats, uniek aan het meer. Op loopafstand van het Hoornse meer. Optionele verhuur van valk zeilboot met motor of sloepje mogelijk.
