Bright, homely flat overlooking Rothesay Bay !

The flat is situated across the road from the beach (about 30 secs walk) We are on the edge of the town, about 2 mins walk from the main supermarket and about 3 mins walk from the main shopping street of the town. There is free parking at the back of the building and free parking at the front too. We are situated about 7/8 minutes walk from the main ferry pier and you can watch the ferry coming in from the front windows. All in all it's a very warm, comfortable flat and we are very pet friendly.

Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Springwell cottage has been recently renovated. Centrally heated with living room underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Can sleep 4 adults and 2 infants or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. Find your wee happy place at this gorgeous wee semi -detached cottage sits on Ardlamont point where the Kyles of Bute meet Loch Fyne. This is the jewel of Argyll’s Secret Coast. Romantically remote yet so close to the well known playgrounds of Tighnabruaich and Portavadie. A piece of paradise awaits you here set in bucolic surroundings of green fields with sheep and birds for company. Awe inspiring views towards Arran’s mountains and close to one of Scotland’s best beaches.

Accommodation is in a spacious 2 bedroom Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors where you can find walking, cycling and hiking routes up Kaim hill with outstanding views of the Clyde coast. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
