Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Grand Canal

Esta ha sido una de las mejores experiencias. El departamento está en una zona tranquila cerca de Campo Santo donde hay restaurantes con terraza. Massimo nos dejó comida y bebida en la refrigeradora lo cual nos significó un ahorro. La comunicación fue fluida. 10 de 10.

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable en casa de Tommaso. Nos ayudo a llegar desde el aeropuerto hasta el apartamento y nos recibió él. También nos indicó dónde podiamos dejas las maletas ya que no pudimos hacer un check-out más tarde de las 10:00 a.m. Nos dió consejos de dónde comer y qué visitar. Hicimos una excursión con él en su barco y fue estupendo. Nos enseñó los mejores lugares y nos contó un montón de anecdotas e historias. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Pamela’s Airbnb was perfect for our mother-daughter trip to Venice! The location couldn’t have been better, just steps from charming cafes, beautiful canals, and all the sights we wanted to explore. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and felt incredibly safe and welcoming. Pamela was a kind and thoughtful host, ensuring we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again!

Wonderfully quiet and quaint spot in Venice! Easy to walk to all the sites and loved being right on the water with access to the water buses and airport shuttle. The space itself is so lovely and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend!!

This stay makes 5 weeks we have spent in this Airbnb. I can honestly say there is nothing I would change about it. Everything you could need is provided and everything works like a charm. This was a fabulous place to stay, well maintained and a great location. 10 min walk to Rialto Bridge. Spotlessly clean. Barbara and Paolo were super helpful, happy to provide recommendations and responded to messages quickly. Apartment had everything you would need to cook. We used local bars/restaurants.

We loved the place. The apartment is conveniently located just steps away from Plaza San Marco and the vaporeto terminals. Andreas was very good at providing transportation recommendations. We probably saved hundreds of dollars. Pack light, Venice is crowded and the streets are tight. You can almost walk the whole city. There is a wonderfull little coffee shop steps away from the apartment on Frezzaria St. and you have to schedule one dinner at Osteria San Marcos, 30 seconds from the apartment. Take the vaporeto to Murano, the island next door. It is less crowded and beautiful also. We will definitely be back.

This place is truly special. Aside from it being spotless, spacious, and walkable to all things Venice, it was truly unique. The old building transformed into a modern apartment was amazing, and the view was beyond compare. It was surreal to look out the windows and see the gondolas go by! Beds were comfy and the rooms were very quieter at night, making for a restful sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the best stocked AirBnB in my month in Italy. Real home away from home experience. It is as described in her photos with some lovely welcome touches. It is close to the train/bus station in a quiet area. Communication was effective and timely. Siria was very thorough with directions and entry. Would stay here again for sure! What a joy to stay at this apartment within an ancient (16 c.) Venetian Palazzo. Simultaneously close to the hub bub of all the sites one wants to see but tucked away from the touristic noise and flow. What you do hear and see from the beautiful balcony is the ebb and flow of the veins on Venice, the gondolier calls and song, the sun tracing along ancient walls to the canal water telling you the time of day. Eclectic, tasteful and comfortable decor. Thoughtful touches added to the kitchen and bathroom for the guest. My month there was bliss, and blessed with the super responsive and thoughtful owner Cristiana. And the generous and patient " custode della casa" Claudia. I can't thank you both enough for help making my adventure so brilliant ! Palazzo Cavazza Foscari is not for anyone looking to stay in bland or generic hostelry. It is definitely for those looking for charming retreat in a magic part of Venice.

Fabio was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had with Airbnb. He went out of his way to meet us at the train station, arranged for a water taxi to take us from the train station to the apartment, ensured we were settled in at the apartment, set us up with a water taxi back to the train station, and even escorted us to the water taxi station on our way out. He was very responsive, kind, and helpful.

One of the best AirBnB stays we've ever had! Giacomo is an excellent host - was very proactive and gave us great recommendations; also was very responsive for questions during our stay. The apartment is amazing! It was perfect for our family with two small kids (ages 4 and 1). It was very well appointed and had everything needed for our stay. We felt right at home. The location of Campo San Polo was perfect! It was close enough to all the main sights, and had lots of restaurants/shopping in close walking distance. We felt like locals (even though we probably weren't fooling anyone) The restaurant just right outside the apartment was great for lunch (really good Pizza/Pasta) and being in close proximity was a game changer for the kids. If you have kids (particularly small ones) - it's helpful to hire a luggage porter. We did this when leaving, and it made our lives a bit easier.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great - away from the hustle and bustle but still close to wherever you want to be. We had a slight mishap with the shower drain but they explained that this happens rarely during high tide given that the unit is on the ground floor. And they were quick to respond and fix the issue. Also the private transfer they arranged for us was absolutely worth it. It is a bit pricey BUT we felt it was worth the convenience and not having to worry about a thing...and the private water taxi itself is like a beautiful boat tour of Venice. We would gladly stay here again if/when we make it back to Venice!

A truly magical place, stay here for an unforgettable Venetian experience. Apartment was very clean and tidy, and was well equipped with everything we needed for our 4-night stay. It also had really interesting books about Venice and its history. Thank you Orsola and Evelyn for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at Mirco’s place. The accommodation was about 15 minutes walk from the train station, and really easy to find. We arrived earlier than expected so we were able to use the luggage storage at the apartment. The hosts gave us lots of useful recommendations for places to visit and eat which was really helpful! We were given a lovely keepsake of a small glass chilli charm which is so lovely and thoughtful! The private apartment was fully equipped and had air conditioning which was a huge bonus. Would definitely recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Venice.

This was one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed in. It was spacious, clean and the bathroom and kitchen area had modern fixtures. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Nicolo left a variety of snacks and drinks which were very much appreciated. The location is very convenient to the popular sightseeing locations, yet it is in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend renting this apartment to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was wonderful, well kept, and clean. Very charming. Cassandra was a fantastic host and very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for our family of four. Convenient to so much of Venice. The hosts were incredible. They offered to assist with transfers from the train station and to the airport, one of which was at 4:30 in the morning. They were super helpful and it took a lot of stress out of the travel for us. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay with them again.

This apartment exceeded our expectations and it is even more beautifully decorated than the photos suggest. The careful attention to detail was truly superlative, extending to things like a shoehorn and hand sanitizer by the doorway, a pitcher of cold water waiting in the fridge, etc. It is very convenient to the train station, just steps away from the Ponte degli Scalzi (so only one major flight of stairs to navigate with luggage once out of the station) but yet extremely private (and very quiet with windows shut). Francesca was friendly and helpful; she greeted us in person and was very accommodating with our schedule. We'll definitely try to stay here again next trip to Venice - thank you for the wonderful stay!
