Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully decorated, with high-quality furniture and nothing is really missing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also arranged the transfer from the airport for us and it worked out just fine. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will be happy to think back to the time and come back soon.

Korina's apartment in Kato Gouves is very spacious, bright, well-furnished, complete with all needs and very comfortable. The strength is undoubtedly the beautiful terrace where you can dine and spend unforgettable evenings in total relaxation. The surrounding area is quite quiet, ideal for families, well-stocked with all necessities: shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and many tavernas. Kato Gouves is located on a sandy coast: the beach closest to Korina's apartment is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas and the sea is very nice and quite low, it degrades gently and is ideal for young children. On the neighboring beaches there are long shores of wonderful red sand, mostly wild, where you can practice the different water sports. Korina is a very kind and friendly innkeeper, which I recommend: she is always available and responds in a very short time for any need.

The place was so much better than we expected! So beautiful, peaceful and well decorated. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

We had a fantastic family stay at this place. It’s so close to a really nice beach, a bunch of good restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy - basically anything which you would need during your stay. And you can access all of these places without a car! House is very clean, perfectly equipped, cozy and well designed. WiFi is very stable, so you can use it for work if you need to. Maria was always responsive and professional. Highly recommended!

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought we would miss the sea, but that was not the case at all. We really managed to relax – walks in the area were enough. We actually planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice trips, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. This house is an extremely special place. The view from the balcony into the valley was absolutely stunning, the furnishings are lovely and tasteful, and the recommendations that Apo provided were spot on. The tavern in the village fed us fit to burst, and we couldn’t stop talking about how we hope to return again someday. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us ❤️

Very nice Airbnb in a great location walkable to the port, perfect for ferry access. Airbnb was spotless, had a nice balcony and very nice lighting features throughout. Host was quickly responsive & friendly! Thanks for a great stay

Absolutely wonderful stay! The house was modern, clean, and extremely comfortable. The bed was cozy, and we felt right at home. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, which we enjoyed on the balcony while taking in the stunning ocean view. The location is perfect—close to great restaurants, shops, and even a market within walking distance. Having a washer on-site was also incredibly convenient for doing laundry during our stay. We had a fantastic experience and truly have nothing negative to say. We’d love to stay here again!

Very nice, great location

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

The place is good located, calm and not far from the restaurants and the shops. Everything was well organized and the communication with George and Giorgos was very smooth!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The reception was friendly. George picked us up spontaneously and went shopping with us. Since we had difficulties with the rental car, George helped us directly to find another cheap car rental and announced us directly there. He gave us useful tips for our excursions. He recommended a great restaurant and even announced our arrival there. He provided us with new towels, sheets and washing powder directly on request. We even received a guest gift. The view from the balcony to the sea was great. Georges garden was also very lovingly laid out, where we could sit. The beach was within 5 minutes' walking distance and the most beautiful in the area with very clear water. We recommend the place 100 percent. If you book there, you should book a rental car, as the supermarket and restaurants are at least 2 km away. Thank you Georg for 10 beautiful vacation days. We will be happy to come back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Giannis was an excellent host. He welcomed us with a warm pastry, fresh fruits, wine and bottled water. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We had a car and having our own parking space was fantastic. We traveled to different areas of the island and it was a convenient home base. Giannis gave us several recommendations from restaurants to beautiful beaches, and they were all great. We especially enjoyed the terrace. It has a beautiful view of the sea and it is very peaceful. We watched the sunrise a few mornings and it was breathtaking. A highlight of the stay was Hamlet, Giannis dog! He was there to welcome us and visited us daily. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a beautiful place and you won’t be disappointed.

This is a beautiful little home in a private area with amazing views. The pool is stunning and the balcony is lovely for eating dinner. The fan is very powerful so no issue with no air con, and bug screens meant you could leave doors and windows open. It was very quiet and gated. In the kitchen there was a microwave oven with a hob, both couldn't be used at once and it is quite small but it worked perfectly fine for us, we cooked at least once a day here. The shower is also small and has a handheld shower head but this was no issue either and it had a lovely view out of a small window. The place was very clean and Joanna was super friendly. The water and snacks we were left were great as we were very hungry and thirsty after our flight. It is so worth the money and I would definitely recommend 🙌🏻

The place is as described on the site. Clean, cosy, quiet and exactly where you need it to be. 5min walk from the central Heraklion lion fountain. We were very happy with everything!!

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

Great brief stay after a late flight into Heraklion. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We loved the space and would recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the port or airport, but note that it is ~25 minutes to the city center.

Giannis's flat was really clean and beautiful. The neighborhood is calm and provides various restaurants, bakery and supermarket. The communication with Gianni was quick and easy, it's a welcoming host. It's a really good choice for visiting Heraklion 👍

The room was great! Clean and tidy! I appreciate the fact that it provided bath products as well as every cooking utensil! I will definitely prefer it again!
